IVF Cycle Buddies July/August

Hi all! I know there's a June/July thread but I've started this one as I'm so far behind everyone else and wanted to find others at the same stage as me!

We're due to start a FET after a failed fresh cycle in march resulted in a CP. We got 5 Frosties which I'm so pleased with and we're putting two frozen ones back this time.

AF came yesterday, so I'm booked in for scratch on 24th of this month and start DR on 22nd.

I joined a thread on my last cycle and it helped me so much as I am very private with all of this. So I'm hoping to find others to share with again 😊

Just out for breakfast after my scan! It went well and looks like they're going to get 11-13 eggs, to go again Friday for a scan and think egg retrieval will be Monday...fingers crossed x

Thanks girls! I'm just utterly relieved that the drugs are working and my body isn't completely useless 😂 I'm excited now and we r both feeling much more positive and happy so hopefully that will help too! I have the headache to end all headaches today though...ouch!!

@Leanne1185 I had that last night and it floored me. It was like no headache I've ever had before. Apparently hormone related. That was grim! Hopefully it shifts for you.

Yeah gamblers it's the sorest Iv had in a very long time, almost migraine like! I just told my hubby he needs to get me a bell 😂😂 ding ding x

I had my scan, we're definitely up for collection on Friday, I'm shitting myself. I have very mild OHSS, a little pocket of fluid about 1cm by 2cm which has worried me but apparently is fairly common. I'm googling how to stop it, apparently electrolytes and protein are key. I've also got a hideously sore throat and my voice has almost completely gone and I feel pretty pants, so I can't tell what is actually making me feel the worst. On the up side I've got my trigger at 9.30 tonight! AND we're getting sushi...so it's not all bad.

Crying, hopefully it's your last sushi for 9 months!!! Bloody love sushi.

How many have you got in there now don't worry about EC, I was out like a light! Fine when came around, although did sleep on and off for the rest of the day!

Think you all need to get co-codamol! It's better than paracetamol and good whilst can't take ibuprofen!

Nurse at work today was saying there's a link to ibuprofen and infertility. Ibuprofen being the common drug of choice for period pains is actually having an effect.
I've never had any issues with my periods and have never taken a lot of ibuprofen. Until I got braces I could count on one hand how many times a year I'd take pain relief.
I'm learning a lot these days, maybe I'll retrain!

gamblers that's scary, 22yrs of taking ibuprofen maybe had an effect. Something to blame! Period pains and hangovers! I've not taken any since been in the ivf mindset!

Hi - spent the hour in my clinic looking for ducks today!!!
I have a bout 20 follicles on each side... So they're continuing with the low dose and hoping they don't all mature. Each one is about 7mm so nowhere near the 17+mm they need to be!
Also I'm not a fan of the probing! It was less comfortable this time around - I guess because my ovaries are growing!

I can't take anti inflammatory drugs because of an allergy, so I haven't taken ibuprofen for 11/12 years! Paracetamol is rubbish though! I think I've only taken cocodamol once though as I never have any when I'm in pain (and no periods over the past 12 years so no regular reasons for pain relief!)

Who else had a scan today? I'm sure there was a third person???

When's ur scan gamblers? It feels so good to know the drugs work and ur body is functioning! U will be absolutely fine too! 20 on each side? 😱 Is that including the tiny ones that won't mature in time?..

It's so exciting! All these scans! And egg collection dates. I have to wait until Friday (day 10) for my scan. I feel so full, surely something must be growing! So no duck at the clinic today Floofles!

Scan on Monday 7th. I've had no stims yet so think that's just to make sure lining is thin to start stims.
I'm feeling pain in side a lot but not sure why as I've only had prostap. Don't know if that does anything to cause pain.
I'm not exercising tonight due to how rotten I felt yesterday. Feels so weird, exercise has been a huge part of my life the last 10 years and only have a few days off if my head is hanging off. Need to think of my wee eggs though.

That'll be your baseline scan gamblers I have mine on Tuesday! Yes, that's just to check all ok to start stimming.

Wow sounds like all your scans went great, fantastic news, all those potential babies! Floof you must feel like youre gonna explode! Exiting that EC isnt too far off for some now.

Gosh I was tired earlier - there were three scans! Well done to leanne and cryings ovaries!!!
I've just had a 3 hour nap! Woke up very very thirsty! Stupid thirst! But at least it's making me keep hydrated!
Duck I am going back on Friday for my day 10 too!!! (Even though it's clearly day 9!) but they don't expect my follies to be ready...
I don't know what counts as tiny ones... They were all pretty much the same 7mm size although she only measured three of the ones on my left and one on the right as none were ready. Anyway, she didn't seem to think that any would grow enough on Friday and they seemed a little surprised I had that many, just glad that they weren't too worried! I am starting to feel fuller now, but only since I know! I was worried nothin was happening!!!
Hopefully I'll get lots of embies and we can freeze some!
There were some other couples there today actually! One who's dp couldn't work the tea/coffee machine which made me chuckle!!! I'll have to keep and eye out for ducks on Friday!
