IVF Cycle Buddies July/August

Hi all! I know there's a June/July thread but I've started this one as I'm so far behind everyone else and wanted to find others at the same stage as me!

We're due to start a FET after a failed fresh cycle in march resulted in a CP. We got 5 Frosties which I'm so pleased with and we're putting two frozen ones back this time.

AF came yesterday, so I'm booked in for scratch on 24th of this month and start DR on 22nd.

I joined a thread on my last cycle and it helped me so much as I am very private with all of this. So I'm hoping to find others to share with again 😊

Wow floof that's a lot of eggs 🍳 I had about the same & it can start to get a little tender when they've grown a bit more! All worth it though I promise 😁

I've been taking ibuprofen for years 😐 I get bad period pains from my endometriosis so I gulp them down at least once a month 🙈

Bill I'd say most people do. They are marked to be taken during periods!
Very jealous of those who are off. I'm shattered come work finish time. Keep saying 2 weeks down, 3 to go... then the dreaded 2ww

I have a week off wc 25th for me ET and I'm counting down the days!

That's the way I'm looking at it gamblers, I'm already sooooo scared about the 2ww I just don't know how to get through it again! Go back to work during it so might be a good thing! I got told today that I will get progressively more uncomfortable over the next few days...can't wait 😂

I'm pretending the 2ww doesn't exist. I have no idea how to cope with that. We've got each other Leanne.

It's definitely the hardest bit it's just horrendous! But ur right we're in it together! Who is it that gets there results tomo again?

That's really interesting about the ibuprofen, I've taken it for endo too as that's what my GP recommended. I'll have to research that, I guess it's too late anyway for some if that's the case.

Thanks biscuit I am hoping the sedation really does know me out for the day in a way.

Chivin I think I had about 12-15 on each ovary and 3 are already above the 'line' on the little graphy thing they plot. I'm so glad I've got all of next week week now to rest and relax. Phew!

Leanna got told the same...prepare to be bloated. Wonderful!

Crying I don't know where he got the info from. Another nurse had said we were talking about women's troubles and he offered the information up!

I'm heading to Edinburgh with my sis tomorrow, we always go for sushi when in Edinburgh so maybe we'll have a last sushi supper too as you've got me craving it!

Oh I reaaaally wanted a last sushi supper, but my sushi eating friend is pregnant and I can't really go out for sushi with just her husband .... And my other sushi eating friend's girlfriend hates sushi. So that's it-No sushi buddies!!!
I am feeling completely crampy and full today, which just shows the power of the mind because I'm sure the follies haven't got considerably larger in there!!!

I've had 3 egg collections and never once had so many eggs.

I've got my blood test today. I'm just finishing my cuppa before I head out. I've had no symptoms unlike the last two times so I'm not holding my breath.

I was horrible to dh this morning. I'm feeling down and ended up saying some horrid things to him. He's just sent me a really nice message and I feel awful.

It's ridiculous isn't it! For something that is meant to just 'happen' and we get warned against all our teenage years 😡💔
In some ways all these drugs are miraculous and I feel very grateful, and in other ways I am very much why me!? And then we have the 2ww to get through too 😩😩😩

Aw Hun u never know don't discount it yet I have everything crossed for u! Ur dh will completely understand which is y he's sent the nice mge, we r allowed to be angry during this extremely stressful situation! Let us know how it goes I'll be thinking about u all day xxx

Cross posted with finding there, so sorry to hear you're having a crappy morning - but remember that it is ok to be a bit horrible sometimes, and I view that that's the only way DHs share in the process is bein being generally shouted at and/or snotted upon. Sounds like he's being understanding which is really good! And if you're forgiven then try not to feel guilty - it's all just the hormones conspiring to make you feel even shittier!

@findingmyfeet12 don't be so hard on yourself. Sounds like your DH completely understands and huge praise to him for being able to rise above. You're doing so well.

I said to my DP this morning if this wein dates to back chat me when they are a teen I'll be like, do you know what I did for you. I ate only hot food for weeks cos some small Chinese man told me I'd get pregnant! So show some respect ha ha

I've just had a positive blood test!

I don't know how I should feel. I'm excited but nervous. I don't know how I'll get through the next few weeks.

It shows that there's still hope though!

My blood test result indicates a pregnancy of 1-2 weeks.

I've been pregnant before and miscarried both times at 12 weeks. I'm really nervous now and don't think I can relax.

I have another blood test on Saturday to confirm it and a third one the week after.
