We have relocated from the conception board where we were previously chatting under the thread 'ttc for 10 months or more'. A lot of us are now long term ttc-ers and are going through infertility treatment or looking to take steps in this direction so we feel this might be a more suitable home for us!

Feel free to stop by and say hi and hopefully we can share the journey together and make it a little easier along the way!

bluebird3 · 11/07/2017 19:40

Thanks everyone. I've felt better today just being at home. I went out shopping and started to get tearful, so glad I didn't go to work. Back to the EPU the morning.

gee how are you? When is your transfer?

I'm in for transfer tomorrow morning. Got acupuncture before and after so that'll take up most of the day!!

geeup · 12/07/2017 13:55

Thanks all. One embie on board and a couple for the freezer which we're really happy about. Had acupuncture before and after and now spending the rest of the day watching the tennis! Wish me luck. God I want this to work so much.

justtheonethen · 12/07/2017 14:56

Wishing you all the luck gee Smile

Jamon · 12/07/2017 18:10

Really wishing you all the luck gee 🤞🏼

bluebird3 · 12/07/2017 18:57

Good luck gee. A couple in the freezer is a great result.

I've had bloods again at the clinic and they've gone down significantly. They can't say for certain whether it was ectopic or not but either way it appears to be miscarrying on its own. It's the best of a bad outcome I guess. Everyone always tries to cheer you up by saying you're super fertile after a miscarriage. I don't think that matters when your dh has a low sperm count. On to IVF #3 in a few months.

blue I'm so sorry. It's all so fucking unfair. Look after yourself and DH. Flowers

Jamon · 12/07/2017 19:24

So sorry blue Sad it is completely unfair. Hoping it's not an ectopic xx

angelazul · 12/07/2017 20:18

So sorry blue, life really isn't fair. Look after yourself Flowers

angelazul · 12/07/2017 20:18

NoImBridgetJones · 12/07/2017 20:38

So sorry blue Sad Flowers

Wishing you lots of luck geeup

geeup · 12/07/2017 22:39

Thanks guys and once again so sorry blue. We're all in this shitty situation together so when someone gets a BFP and then loses it, it's heartbreaking. We're all thinking of you.

angelazul · 15/07/2017 09:04

Hey how is everyone? Any nice plans for the weekend?

bluebird3 · 15/07/2017 15:43

Thanks for all the support everyone. I had some pretty bad cramping yesterday and this morning and passed some tissue. It was so gross. I'm hoping the worst is over now as I was so early.

My dh is on night shifts so I'm just relaxing at home with my little dog this weekend. Hope everyone else is getting on ok.

Massive hugs blue. Sounds horrible. I'm sorry this has happened to you.

geeup · 15/07/2017 16:09

Flowers blue. Glad you're home and as comfy as possible. Don't know if you are in the mood yet to be cheered up but if you want a complete distraction and have Netflix, try Amy Schumers The Leather Special. Nothing to do with babies just some silly laughs.

justtheonethen · 15/07/2017 17:02

Might try that myself gee, I love her!

geeup · 15/07/2017 17:28

It made me laugh out load. There's a bit where she talks about when men want to come on your boobs that I found hilarious. Blush

geeup · 15/07/2017 17:29

Ps hope this isn't insensitive blue. Genuinely hope it might cheer someone up!

bluebird3 · 15/07/2017 23:02

Not insensitive at all gee. I love Amy Schu and will definitely e checking that out.

I feel relatively calm about the whole thing. I had a rough Monday but am ok now. I think infertility hardened me and I never really felt like it was real. I don't think I ever smiled after getting my bfp as I just didn't feel like I could count on being pregnant. I didn't think about the future, visualise being pregnant or actually having a baby. I'm used to disappointment and kind of expected this. I hate that infertility has done this to me but at the same time think I'm handling this early miscarriage probably a lot better than people who have never experienced infertility or loss. I actually found the first failed ivf harder and feel quite hopeful that ivf can work for me and when we get the right sticky bean things will work out.
