Hi Smile

I noticed there's a IVF thread for March/April and now June - but no May.

My egg collection is scheduled week commencing the 15th May. On my next period (due around 3rd April) I have to go down for my bloods.
Anyone else?

Ah I'm so pleased for you. I was routing for yours!! Congratulations xx

blackcherries · 23/06/2017 17:06

Congrats elle! My scan was at 7 weeks and all fine, thank God. That period between bfp and scan was worse than 2ww in a way. Finally booked in with midwives so it's feeling a bit realer. Our clinic is closing down so really hope nothing goes wrong as will be v difficult to do another round.

Ash75454 · 23/06/2017 22:19

Congrats elle delighted for you. Now comes the next lot of waiting and overthinking! 4 days and counting to my scan. I'll be 7.5 weeks then so ya seems around the 7 week mark for all.

Longleggedlovely · 26/06/2017 20:15

I'm pretty sure I'm out of the running. I'm due to test tomorrow but cracked tonight, just had cheap tests one possibly a line, one definitely no line so went to buy one that spells it out and the shop didn't have any so bought another cheapie and no line. Devastated doesn't even come close to how I'm feeling right now, I was so sure this time had worked. We've got one wee frostie in the freezer so not totally out but still hurting.

Good luck to everyone else x

elle77 · 26/06/2017 20:58

Sorry to hear your disappointment Long legged. My clinic were very clear that it must be a ClearBlue non digital test done first thing as you need more concentrated urine- let's hope you were too hydrated this evening.

Will have everything crossed for you in the morning.

elle77 · 26/06/2017 21:00

Good luck tomorrow Ash.

Longleggedlovely · 27/06/2017 20:05

Well, Elle you were right. After being horribly upset last night I just didn't feel quite right so bought a clear blue one today and tonight's result was finally our turn to have our BFP! Super early days and after so many years of trying and failed treatment we are now in a state of shock but happy shock. And the moral of our tale, get the clear blue tests!

Wishing everyone all the very best Flowers

Congratulations longlegged brilliant news, i wish you all the luck in the world and a happy pregnancy.

I started stims yesterday, slowly getting there, at least it's a pen injection so fairly simple to do

thegamblersmrs · 27/06/2017 20:55

I've just been reading a following all your stories as not starting my journey until next AF arrives (likely tomorrow)
Delighted for you longlegged and glad I've learned the golden rule of 'use clearblue' from you!

elle77 · 27/06/2017 21:03

Long legged- I am so pleased for you- that is excellent news. Grin

Good luck with the stims Karen- sending you positive thoughts for big follicles!!!

Gamblers mrs- let's hope AF arrives quickly! Good luck.

thegamblersmrs · 27/06/2017 21:30

Thanks Elle, surreal feeling wishing it to come after 3 years of wishing it wouldn't!!

Ash75454 · 27/06/2017 23:42

Great news longlegged and welcome gamblersmrs

elle really appreciated your message of good luck. I was totally terrified and emotional earlier. Success, we seen the wee ones heart beat today. As we transferred 2 she had a good check in case there was a second but one little baby doing well, dating 7+2 with a heart beat of 151 BPM. Another milestone achieved. How you doing?

79Karen · 28/06/2017 09:13

Aww that's really great Ash everyone on here has been though such a journey it's so nice to hear success stories. I seem to have gotten a bit of association fear with scans, I had my baseline scan on Monday and I was nearly in tears beforehand, Im so used to scans bringing bad news! I now just feel constantly terrified. And I promised myself I wouldn't stress myself out about this process Confused

Lily35 · 30/06/2017 13:20

How are you getting on Karen?

79Karen · 30/06/2017 13:50

Hi Lily thanks for asking, I'm doing well, day 5 of stims and beginning to feel a bit twingy. I have been having a bit of pinkish discharge though which has worried me a bit, I have my first progress scan on Monday so will see then how it's all going, I'm not expecting a huge amount of eggs being 38 but I hope a few a growing

Lily35 · 30/06/2017 15:12

I seemed to have pinkish discharge continually after the DR bleed. It tailed off in the end - I think it's just all the drugs in your system and your body shutting down. Good luck over next few days :)

Lily35 · 30/06/2017 15:14

They will tell you your lining thickness at your scan and unless it's full on bleeding - it won't make a difference to your lining. Let us know how you get on x

79Karen · 30/06/2017 15:36

Thanks Lily that's really reassuring, definitely not bleeding but wish it would stop. Hopefully everything is progressing ok. Hows things with you? Have you been back to your clinic yet to discuss next steps?

Lily35 · 30/06/2017 16:12

We request again on my next bleed, currently on cd10. So not long.
I feel ok - I feel glad I got the chance to have a chance with an ET and happy I have another shot. I'm almost scared at the 2 x 'fallback plan' are almost over Shock
I just hope I get some results next time. The consultants should adjust my cycle but I won't find out until I call to request. I'm demanding the scratch this time too.

79Karen · 02/07/2017 16:59

Sorry Lily I never replied. This whole process is pretty terrifying, it's kinda like the last resort that we all hope will work. Are you NHS with 2 goes? you never know what will happen in each cycle, hopefully they'll tweek a few things? in my mind the first go it's a bit of a trial run, if it works brilliant, if not I'd hope they've learnt stuff to improve chances for the next time

Lily35 · 02/07/2017 17:36

I totally agree with that - it's a trial and I should be tweaked a bit. I'm taking lots of vitamins this time too. Am still petrified of egg quality being an issue though.

Lily35 · 02/07/2017 17:37

Yes I was lucky and got two NHS cycles.

79Karen · 02/07/2017 18:14

Im worried about egg quality too, suppose I just have to wait and see and take it from there. First stims scan tomorrow and the pink discharge has gone, hoorah!

Ash75454 · 02/07/2017 19:23

Hi ladies. Are you taking coQ10? Supposed to help egg quality.

Lily35 · 02/07/2017 19:58

Yes started when my cycle failed so should have done 90 days by the time I start again.
I'm also taking:
Royal Jelly
Maca
Shatavari
Vit D
Vit C and Iron
Folic Acid
