IVF in May/JUNE 2017..cycle buddies!

Hi

I noticed there's a IVF thread for March/April and now June - but no May.

My egg collection is scheduled week commencing the 15th May. On my next period (due around 3rd April) I have to go down for my bloods.
Anyone else?

Sorry you're finding it tough, I think I will too I know I will over analyse every minor twinge etc. But 6 days is still early, the cramps could be a good sign

How you getting on Elle?

I'm doing ok thanks- I'm 8dp2dt my body feels like it's got back to normal!! Not felt anything but had a few feelings yesterday and this morning that AF is coming. Hope it's all part of the process but has made me nervous.

How are all the BFP people- Moggle, Moody, Ash (sorry if I have missed someone- I'm typing on my phone and everytime I go back through messages it deletes the one I'm writing!) Karen how is DR going? Lily- how are you now? Still feeling the cramps?

Cramps and all symptoms like sore boobs left yesterday which has unnerved me. Feel totally normal now. I think that means the trigger has left my system now. I know people don't get pregnant symptoms this early but it has made me now definitely think out :(

lily, elle it's so hard to not second guess every symptom that appears and that disappears! When is your OTD's? Are you thinking of testing early?

elle thanks for asking how we are doing. Very impatiently waiting for my scan on the 27th. The crinone is starting to drive me mad so of course I'm second guessing that now! Felt pretty nauseous the last few days, Friday in particular was bad. Trying the crackers in bed thing to see if it helps today. Never experienced morning sickness before so hard to know where you are on the 'scale'.

Thinking of all you ladies and keeping fingers crossed for BFP's

Can I join please? This is our first IVF after 4 failed IUI. We had our ET on Sat so now in the dreaded 2ww. We get to test a week on Tuesday tho so not too bad. Just keeping a low profile at the moment and keeping everything crossed for our BFP this time!

My OTD is Wednesday but I have visitors so me and OH have agreed to test tomorrow. I feel totally normal so think it's a BFN :(

Welcome LongLegged! The 2WW is awful! Did you have day 3 or 5 day transfer? 1 or 2 embies put in?

I'm sorry you think it'll be a BFN Lily you never know but sometimes it's like you just know these things. How are you feeling about it all?

I feel the same as you Lily! Feel too much like AF is kicking in- pretty certain it's a BFN for me too. Have the test ready for Thursday but I feel the same as every month so feeling pretty miserable about the whole week.

Thanks Lily, hoping for good news for you tomorrow. I had 1 5 day blasto put in and hopefully a couple in the freezer though I'll find out tomorrow if they made it or not.

AFM - massive BFN, I feel like I almost got my head prepared for it. Either that or it's in the post and I'll be a mess later on. I need to throw myself into the next round now and try and get my egg quality sorted out x

Oh no Lily- such bad news- big hugs being sent to you. I know you thought it was going to be a BFN but it must be so difficult seeing it there in front of you. I know it may be no help to you but make sure you test on Wednesday too- could it be you hormone levels haven't' quiet got high enough to register?

I like your positive thinking about what to improve for next time- make sure you give yourself time to get over this disappointment though. Maybe look for something nice to do tonight (in this weather I would be in a nice pub garden with a lot of prosecco).

Sorry to hear that Lily even though you thought it might be negative it's still disappointing. Yes, go and have a nice glass of something this evening, you deserve it

Just thought I say a quick hello Lily how are you doing? Elle'are you testing tomorrow? Longleg did you get any Frosties? How's the tww for you?

Just one wee blasto for the freezer but at least it's another go if we're out this round. Trying to keep positive though for this one. The 2ww is the longest 2 weeks ever.... I've had acupuncture this time and it's nice to relax if nothing else!

How are things with you Karen? Hope you're OK Lily? Good luck Elle for testing soon.

One in the freezer is great, we were told only about 25% get anything suitable for freezing. Hopefully you won't need it but it's good to know its there if you do. I'm a bit behind everyone else and hopefully moving on to stims on Monday, down regging isn't too bad, maybe I'm a bit more irritable and tired but it's ok

Hi guys I'm fine thanks for asking. Official BFN today and it's been tough but everyday gets easier :) they said today we can start ok next bleed too so I'm happy about that! Get straight back on it!

Hi Lily glad you're doing ok and that's great you don't have to wait too long to try again. I'm looking forward to getting going on the next phase, I have no idea how it will go, how I will respond and if we'll get anything to fertilise? So much to worry about!

Hope you are starting to feel a bit better Lily- great news that you can start again so soon- did they give you any feedback if anything can be done different next time?

Any news on the scans from the BFP people? Any more twins?!?

Good luck with the stims Karen- I didn't respond well to the first drug I had and had to change mid way through and go for an extra day before EC but was pleased that they monitored and adapted the programme.

Good luck with the 2WW Long legged- I was fine for 10 days then it drove me crazy!

AFM- well it turns out that its a BFP (on 4 occasions!!! May have been naughty and tested Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and finally on the actual day Thursday!) But I am still worrying my self crazy! Because my stomach still feels a little weird I'm in the bathroom about 20 times a day to make sure I haven't started bleeding! So Karen it turns out the worrying doesn't stop!!! Picking up more progesterone today then more waiting until scan. My scan is at 7 weeks- is that usual?

Aww congratulations Elle I don't blame for cracking and testing early! And I know if I ever get there I'll be knicker checking all the time! My clinic day they'll scan at 7 weeks, it seems to be the norm. I hope you have a very uneventful pregnancy
