IVF in May/JUNE 2017..cycle buddies!

Hi

I noticed there's a IVF thread for March/April and now June - but no May.

My egg collection is scheduled week commencing the 15th May. On my next period (due around 3rd April) I have to go down for my bloods.
Anyone else?

Ash I found broody on the Pregnancy after infertility thread in the pregnancy board so I've been on there tentatively and lurking over here!

Lily- great news- I think I'll be joining you tomorrow!

7 Follicles retrieved yesterday, but only 2 are fertilised normally so no point waiting- so they are putting both back in tomorrow! No idea what grade they are- will check tomorrow!

Yeh a fellow 2WW buddy! And like everyone keeps saying - they will be going into the natural environment to continue growing.

So last nyt a had rly painful cramps on ma left side under stomach, Lil bit blood... BT nurse told me it's not emergency nd a must wait till Monday, den later on evening a passed a tissue a Fink... Was greyish cover in a blood, after dat all ma pain stopped nd dis lol bleeding too, So am 1000% dat was a miscarriage... Rang hospital today to hv app they still wanted me to cum Monday BT a told dem it's emergency a passed a tissue nd a need app ryt nw. So they gave me app at 12 awww... So a guess dat will b just confirm of miscarriage

Oh Atika I guess you will be in there now. Glad they finally gave you an appointment, well done for being strong and insisting on one. At least you will know for sure and start to pick up the pieces xxxx

Good luck Lily and Elle* any plans for the tww or are you carrying on as normal? Hopefully if I get that far I'm thinking of booking the 2nd week off work and do something nice to distract myself.

I'm pottering today, a wedding tomorrow (taking it easy), Sorrento for a wedding on 22nd June and OH is off in between so going to do some nice things together.
I'm already finding it hard - it's all I can think about!

All gearing up to start DR on Sunday, on my mum's birthday. Looking forward to getting underway. Feeling nervous, you just want it to go well don't you, such an emotional rollercoaster. It's been odd up to now, my last mc was over 3 years ago and I'd pushed it out my mind and ploughed on with life. Now reading others experiences on here all those memories come flooding back. Just hoping I don't experience it again but it's a real possibility?

I've had one too Karen, it was nearly two years ago now and I still think about it a lot and worry I may have another. Unfortunately any pregnancy would always be nerve racking now - I envy these people who have first babies with no issue x

I know, I'm not sure that if I did get pregnant that I could ever actually enjoy it? I'd be a nervous wreck! But my mc's were very early we've never seen anything other than a sac on a scan, no actual being or heartbeat, maybe if we saw that I'd relax a little? Good luck in the tww and enjoy the weddings, they'll be a lovely distraction

So they did scan twice cz they didn't believe dat they can't c nuffin a guess a passed everything naturally.. They did pregnancy test wich show positive nd did blood test next blood test on Monday so hopefully it's drop fast down... A asked them wen cn a start again our last chance they sed a need normal period then in 21 days we cn start... BT after our first chance wer blood test was negative it's took us abt 3 month to start.. lyk get first injection etc so a hv no idea how long dis tym guns take, not dis tym if a hv even Lil drop of discharge fast guna go emergency nd nt guna leave till they check me nd dis tym a hope they let us put two embryos in.. Awww

Atika I'm glad everything's passed and hopefully you'll be back having another cycle again really soon. Hopefully you won't need so many tests and checks before the next go so they can start ASAP. Xxx

Hw long it's guna take to hv normal period again? Awww dats guna b our last chance nw a scared dat it's guna b negative or miscarriage again.. Den a dnt know Wat next a guess guna need try natural BT a hv policistic ovaries nd left tube block so a neva knw wen a hv gd ovulating nd ma partner hv poor sperm...

Well they are in there!!!! Suddenly feel very responsible for looking after them! Transfer on Saturday morning was nice and easy- had acupuncture in the afternoon and then its over to me! Not sure my body has totally recovered from the EC!

Not sure if it is vertigo (which I suffer from) or the progesterone that is making me feel sick- I've been fine until this point! Hoping my body will settle down and I'll start feeling better soon.

Very exciting Elle glad the transfer went smoothly. Did you arrange the acupuncture separately? I've been looking in to it. Yes did my first injection yesterday evening, spent the whole day winding myself up and actually it was really simply and painless!! Now I must remember to drink lots!

Also did anyone else get put on the pill before starting? This is my 2nd month now and I've been having spotting and some light cramps for the past few days, I've still got 4 pills of this course to take, did anyone experience a this. Just think I'm super paranoid that the polyp is coming back

I took the pill for about 30ish days and also felt like AF was coming- but it didn't! I stopped taking the pill on the 2nd day of my DR injections. I knew I would be the same about winding myself up for the injections so I did them in the morning to get them out of the way. I did the stimming injections in the morning too!

I've ben having acupuncture for about 8 weeks this time (did quiet a few sessions last summer while trying naturally too). Hopefully they will make a difference- no one at my clinic has suggested them though. But my friend who is an obstetrician did it- so I'm happy to follow her lead (following first round of IVF she is 30 weeks pregnant with twin girls so it hopefully helped her!!!)

I was thinking of you and whether you had them transferred? Did you get 2 on D3 as well? I'm 4dp3dt today and they should start to implant over the next few days. I hope they do.
One of mine was good and the other was borderline so I hope they are snuggling up in there.
It's very very tough - I thought that I would feel happier to have them in but instead I feel a bit down at times!
The pessaries make me feel bloated, sore boobs, some nausea, and I look preg cos of my bloat. I'm also bit constipated!
OH is taking me to York for a few days in a spa hotel to relax, I've been to a wedding too (sat down) but had lots of laughs. So just trying to take it easy ish but carry on as normal a bit as well.

Hey Lily- I'm 2dp2dt- got to two days and only 2 fertilised so put them straight back in- think mine are the same as you, one is a bit borderline! I know this is TMI but I'm really constipated!! OH came to find me the other night because I had been in the bathroom so long! I've even resorted to dairy (I'm lactose intolerant and dairy usually means a speedy trip tot he bathroom!). Does anyone know if this gets better with time?

I'm going to drop hints about your spa hotel!!!! Although did find him looking at a holiday for mid July so maybe I can wait till then!

Let's hope ours grow to blastos well back in their normal environment!
I had AF pains yesterday too which seems at the right point in a normal cycle - worried me a bit :(

When are both of your test days? My clinic seems to want you to wait 15 days after transfer, that seems like such a long time? Someone needs to invent a tww activity manual to keep people occupied 😂

My OTD is 21st June but I may test on 19th because I have visitors on the 21st!!

I've been told to test on 22nd which again doesn't make any sense as I should be more than a day behind you!!! My job seems to have created such a manual to keep me occupied as they keep giving me stuff to do during my 2WW!!!
