We have relocated from the conception board where we were previously chatting under the thread 'ttc for 10 months or more'. A lot of us are now long term ttc-ers and are going through infertility treatment or looking to take steps in this direction so we feel this might be a more suitable home for us!

Feel free to stop by and say hi and hopefully we can share the journey together and make it a little easier along the way!

Sorry I can't remember just but are you unexplained infertility or was there a known issue?

justtheonethen · 26/06/2017 19:07

We were unexplained but then they found that DH's previously ok sample now showed pretty severe male factor. We were for for ICSI but his sample on the day was good, better than it had been ever so we did standard ivf.

He stopped drinking/smoking and took wellman.

Congratulations just! Fantastic news. Wishing you a very boring and happy 8-9 months ahead. Was this your first IVF cycle?

Good luck angel

Glad to hear you're getting started again gee fingers tightly crossed for you

Fx blue hope it's you next

justtheonethen · 27/06/2017 09:25

It was our first, I feel incredibly lucky and wasn't expecting it to happen for us on the first go.

bluebird3 · 27/06/2017 20:54

I cracked and tested today. I had the squintiest of squinters. There is definitely something there. I'm not taking it as a bfp though as it's so faint it could either be on its way in or out. Hopefully tomorrow it will be more conclusive.

geeup · 27/06/2017 21:58

Oh god. Everything crossed for you blue!!!!

bluebird3 · 28/06/2017 04:15

Couldn't sleep so tested. Another absolute squinter. Looks about the same as yesterday. Don't know what to think now but feeling really disappointed it isn't darker. What do you all think?

Don't lose heart. I think it takes up to 48 hours to double so you can't draw any conclusions until tomorrow.
I think this is something to be cautiously excited about. Keeping everything crossed this has a happy outcome.

justtheonethen · 28/06/2017 06:37

Hcg doubling time......

Update...

I took two tests this morning. The FRER below looked like that at about 3 min after test. It's now a tiny, tiny bit darker than the one I did yesterday.

I also took a less sensitive test the hospital gave me. At 3 min it was bfn. At 10 min there was a hint of a shadow. Now...2 hours later it is a very clear bfp. It's probably invalid after 2 hours!!! So frustrating to not have a clear answer. The waiting continues.

justtheonethen · 28/06/2017 06:56

Mine have all dried darker. If there was a line there at 10 mins it's a line. Eeeep!

angelazul · 28/06/2017 08:01

Blue a line's a line!!!!!

geeup · 28/06/2017 10:21

I agree - a lines a line!!

justtheonethen · 28/06/2017 14:17

And lots of red food apparently, antioxidant! I also got DH to take vitamin d, 1000mg of vit c and co-enzyme q10.

QueenZ · 28/06/2017 14:25

Thankyou guys.. well I actually give him my vitamin D.. im on a very high dose with MS and iv read that everyone should be taking it this side of the equator. All those vitamins seem to be in the wellman but thats a great excuse for a steak justtheone thanku xx

justtheonethen · 28/06/2017 14:58

Just check they are in high enough quantities. Really important that it's 1000mg vit c and 200mg at least of co-q10

bluebird3 · 29/06/2017 06:08

Lines darker and this isn't ever a FRER. I think I finally believe I've actually got a bfp!
