Fluid in uterus

Hi there, I have recently had my first IVF cycle but had to freeze everything as my lining wasn't thick enough in time for ET. During my cycle I also had some fluid in my uterus. I've had this in previous normal cycles too. It always happens mid cycle and then disappears about 5 or so days later. I am having a hysteroscopy in September but the doctor thinks it will be clear as she can't see anything on my scans. I'm worried if it's hormonal then it can't be fixed and I'll never make it to ET! Has anyone else had anything similar? xxx

Ahhhhhh! Congratulations!!!! So pleased for you. What was your beta? X

Lolly2803 · 19/11/2016 21:37

I am 9dp5dt today and it was either 212 or 252 I can't remember as I was in such shock!!
I literally can't believe it!!!

You know that's high enough for twins for 14dpo!!!! Are you getting a couple beta done?
Yay!!!!

RoseBud2016 · 19/11/2016 23:38

*another

Lolly2803 · 20/11/2016 08:32

Hey! I wasn't 14dpo I was actually 9dp5dt!! I'm going to ask for another tomorrow. I have to go back for more meds anyway so I'm going to ask if I can pay for another so I can see if it's doing what it should!
Eeek! Did you have your betas done? Xxx

OP posts:
RoseBud2016 · 20/11/2016 09:20

9dp5dt is the equivalent of 14dpo. They mean the same thing!

My betas were really high! 3117 at 14dp6dt (20dpo) and 5851 at 16dp6dt (22dpo) but I only transferred one so it was less likely to be twins.

So excited for you!

RoseBud2016 · 20/11/2016 09:26

Betabase website is really good for giving you an indication of what your beta should be (based on averages)

Lolly2803 · 20/11/2016 09:56

Oh is it? Even from a frozen transfer? Just looked at that website - the ranges seem to be huge! Can't imagine the numbers are a way of telling are they?

Your number is huge! Are you sure only 1?
I guess I'll have to wait for the scan to check. If I make it that far. Trying to take each day as it comes xx

OP posts:
RoseBud2016 · 20/11/2016 10:19

Yes the range is huge, but from experience both times I've had betas lower than the average on betabase I've had early MCs so I do think they give some indication.

Obviously what's most important is that they double in 48 hours though.

Definitely take each day as it comes- that's a great way to try and be.

Keep me updated x

Lolly2803 · 20/11/2016 10:22

Is my number a good number? It's so confusing all this! I'm going to ask for another tomorrow so I'll let you know.
I'm getting a lot of side effects from the drugs/symptoms. I'm quiet nauseas and have heartburn.

How far along are you and how are you feeling? I don't even know what happens next! Still quiet shocked and doesn't feel real.

OP posts:
RoseBud2016 · 20/11/2016 15:38

Yes your number is definitely good! It's in line with the twins average so that's very strong!

Next thing to happen for you will be a second beta and then a scan. I think most clinic do the scan between 6-7 weeks. We had ours at 6w6d.

I'm 8+2 now. Still having nausea on and off though no where near as bad as at 6 weeks. Still feel very anxious about everything. We have booked another scan for 10 weeks so will have to try and keep my sanity until then! Confused

RoseBud2016 · 20/11/2016 16:03

OMG How weird is this. 10 mins after sending you that reply and felt really sick and threw up! My first preggo vomit- I'm strangely happy about this! Lol

Lolly2803 · 20/11/2016 16:42

Haha! How funny. I just seem to be feeling sick off and on all day - I don't mind though!

So how many weeks am I now then? How much should my beta have gone up tomorrow say?
I think I'll be having many scans just to help my anxiety!

OP posts:
RoseBud2016 · 20/11/2016 19:38

I definitely think feeling sick is a good sign. So glad to hear you are feeling sick! At 9dp5dt you are exactly 4 weeks pregnant. So today you are 4+1! Smile

Your beta should double in 48 hours. There are calculators online you can use to work it out if you bloods are taken at different times on the 2 days. Good luck and let me know how it goes x

Lolly2803 · 20/11/2016 19:55

I'm going to be asking you so many questions!! Will keep you posted!

Let me know what you're up to and how you're feeling etc. Nice to have somebody to talk to! xx

Rose have you had much cramping? I've had a little bit off and on. Very mild cramping and twinges etc now and again. I wouldn't say AF like but a bit crampy in the evenings. Is that normal?

OP posts:
RoseBud2016 · 21/11/2016 20:13

Hello! Yes loads! In the early days I had lots of cramps which were milder than AF but low down like AF. It's definitely normal. Just embie getting comfy Smile

Now I get more of an achey, stretching sensation quite a lot. And low down aches in my abdomen if I'm active for prolonged periods of time.

Lolly2803 · 21/11/2016 20:16

Ok phew so that's normal!! Thanks oh wise one!!
Had my bloods taken today and will get hcg results tomorrow. I'll let you know what the number is. It was 211 at 9dp5dt.
They also want me to go back on Friday for another.

Hope you're ok?! xxx

Lol! I'm only 4 weeks wiser than you Wink Really I'm pretty clueless Grin

So you due date must be end of July?!

Good luck for tomorrow's beta result- I'm going to guess it will be 500 ish X

Lolly2803 · 21/11/2016 20:58

They just called its 356 so it hasn't doubled! I'm so worried!

OP posts:
Lolly2803 · 21/11/2016 21:35

That's 211 - 356 in 55 hours.

OP posts:
RoseBud2016 · 21/11/2016 21:56

My doubling time was 50 hours. The official advice is it should double between 48-72 hours so you are still fine!

You're having a third beta too so can see how the doubling goes. Easier said than done but don't panic! X

RoseBud2016 · 21/11/2016 21:58

Here's the official advice:
