WANTED- cycle buddies who are ttc#1 and planning a FET in April/May

I'm in need of some buddies! Smile

A long story short is that I have been ttc#1 for 19 months now. I have severe PCOS and don't ov or cycle naturally.
Last year I was told that DH and I would only have a chance of conceiving through IVF, after numerous other fertility treatments failed.

In February this year we had our first ISCI IVF cycle at Reprofit in the Czech Republic (DH has 2 DDs so we are not eligible for treatment on the NHS) We got 12 eggs, 8 fertilised and 6 made it to blasts! We had one transferred and fell pregnant! But at 4+4 blood tests confirmed that the pregnancy wasn't viable and at 5 weeks we had a very early mc (I hate the phrase CP as I think it trivialises it)

The last few weeks have been such a struggle physically and mentally but we are keen to try again so are planning another trip to Reprofit to be reunited with one of our Frosties! Smile

Scared and excited in equal measures and would love some buddies to share in this new and unknown part of the 'journey' with. X

Hurrah! So pleased for you rose. I had a good feeling so thrilled it's worked out. Babybud is growing at a rate of knots by the sounds of things! Xx

Scan in 9 days Vixx. Kinda glad no beta testing for me as I can keep my head down and not think about it. I'm usually all about the info and numbers but this time around ignoring and going in blind, as it were, it is working for me!

Vixxfacee · 20/06/2016 18:12

I think the beta can just worry you more and it's better not knowing!
How many weeks are you now?

Grumpelstiltskin · 20/06/2016 18:29

5+3. Urgh, the annoying thing about testing and finding out early is then that you seem to be in the dull/terrifying super-early stages forever!

Vixxfacee · 20/06/2016 18:31

Ah so you and rose are just one day apart. Due date 17th Feb?

I know! I've know for about 5 weeks now! Apparently the second trimester goes quicker. I think at this stage every day is a bonus so it feels longer. I'm constantly thinking about it too rather than getting on with my life lol.

Grumpelstiltskin · 20/06/2016 18:35

That's the one! When's yours? Stealth is NYE, right? And I think even I can do the maths with rose one day behind me! Wink

Vixxfacee · 20/06/2016 18:38

I'm the 26th January!

stealthbanana · 20/06/2016 20:06

Yep I'm NYE 😳. Party time!

Vixxfacee · 20/06/2016 20:07

If he comes before the festivities start you can have champagne to celebrate!

stealthbanana · 20/06/2016 21:08

I'll be having champagne by hook or by crook. He'll be fully baked by then either way! :)

stealthbanana · 21/06/2016 10:34

Joining you back on the vomit train vixx. 5 times this morning already. At home feeling sorry for myself - just cannot handle work today. Ugh!

Vixxfacee · 21/06/2016 11:38

5 times! Ah Sad I thought it would be easing up now your in the 13th week.

Can I ask you something? Have you had cramps? Woke up that 1 his morning with terrible pains and upset stomach. Little digs all morning and panicking (again) now.

stealthbanana · 21/06/2016 11:42

I know! I thought I'd moved on from that stage.

I have had a couple of bouts of extremely strong stomach pain. V short but v painful. Quite low down so it's hard to tell whether it's ligament related or tummy related.

Remember your digestive system is on the blink so I wouldn't worry too much about cramps. Just try to stick to plain food.

Vixxfacee · 21/06/2016 11:45

Stealth you're going to be group guru as you will be going through everything before us!

How's the bump size now?

stealthbanana · 21/06/2016 12:17

Ha ha! Hopefully the other two don't have anything like this much vomiting.

Bump is still tiny. It's just a hard little rounded belly really. And I look a tiny little bit "thicker". But I still have hip bones and ribs etc. I was in a bikini at the weekend and my friends could only just see the difference (although DH could definitely!). Hopefully it's a few more weeks til I pop. All my trousers still fit perfectly which is good! Boobs on the other hand are enormous...am going to have to go bra shopping this weekend as I am busting out all over the place Grin

Vixxfacee · 21/06/2016 12:27

It will be so exciting once you get the bump.

What are you going to do about bras because I'm guessing they will be growing continually now?

stealthbanana · 21/06/2016 12:31

I'm hoping the bump stays away for awhile. Easier for clothes!

Not sure re bras. Was kind of hoping that boobs don't keep growing at this rate - i think I've gone up 2 cup sizes already. I guess I'll just buy a couple of new bras now and if necessary buy more when needed. Will probs get some comfy yoga type bras so they don't need to fit so precisely and can buy them with a little room in them. I don't know!

Vixxfacee · 21/06/2016 12:35

I can't wait to get a bump, it will feel more real for me.

I wonder if there are expandable bras!

stealthbanana · 21/06/2016 12:40

I think knowing the sex has helped the most with making it real for me. Id like to minimise the physical signs as much as possible though (mostly as am lazy and don't want to go shopping!).

Expandable bras would be great. Not sure how cup size would work though! Ill definitely buy a band size up as am assuming my rib cage will expand at some point too.

Vixxfacee · 21/06/2016 12:51

Oh yeah and seeing a scan where he actually looks baby shaped rather than a blob helps make it real too.

My boobs are spilling out of a 32G already. Dread to think how it's going to be!

stealthbanana · 21/06/2016 12:52

Yep the baby shaped scan helps!

Ha ha you will be huge! Crazy isn't it?!

Vixxfacee · 21/06/2016 13:22

I know lol
I've just contacted an early scan reassurance place to enquire about having another scan. My sickness has gone quite alot (stopped taking my tablets) and now I'm panicking at how much better I feel. Do you think it's excessive, it will be the fourth scan.

stealthbanana · 21/06/2016 13:41

Ha. I don't think it's excessive but you will have fluctuation of symptoms so I wouldn't necessarily worry about that. When's your next scheduled scan? Nothing wrong with just booking in weekly scans if that's what you need to manage the anxiety. On the other hand having scans won't prevent a bad outcome - if something is going to go wrong, it'll happen regardless. (Sorry to be gloomy!)

Vixxfacee · 21/06/2016 13:44

I stopped taking my tablets because the symptoms obviously went and that worried me (stupid).

I don't have any scheduled scans but going drs this afternoon to try and sort out the booking in appointment.

When is your next one?
