The old thread which was so popular has become full so thought we'd start one here again for us all to support one another through the clomid journey and celebrate it's successes xx

Yeah it's a bit crap dealing with stupid reactions. It doesn't bother me as much now. Some are harsh like "have you considered adoption?". oof! that one really hurts.

Anyone come up with a name yet? Clomid Journey Part III?? Boring I know. Clomid Cycle Club, Clomid Club, Clomid Chicks.. These are shit I know

Hey ladies how are we all getting on

I took abit of a break from MN this month. I was on holiday whilst ovulating and for the first time in over 12 months I didn't temp or track OPK. Also this month my dosage was increased from 50mg to 100mg.

Anyway AF was due yesterday and still no signs. Took a test last night and got a BFN. I think my body is playing tricks on me and AF is going to show up late

Anybody else due to POAS soon?

I think chlomid-a never ending story is a good one.

I'm 10 DPO Shoegal and due to test on Monday. So far this is the longest luteal phase I have had without spotting so trying to keep positive without raising my hopes too much...

shoegal I have 1 month left & they want me to double the dose however I'm away on cd12 & they'd want to scan me then. I'm already ov on 50mg. Don't know what to do. Periods pretty much non existent as it is. Why did they double your does, did they scan you and we're you okay if you don't mind me asking?

We have been diagnosed with unexplained fertility. DH sperm test was good. I ovulate naturally, regular periods and have clear tubes. It's just not happening for us at the mo

We aren't eligible for assisted conception until aug/step as by then it will have been2 years TTC.

I think the FC has given me Clomid to shut me up for a while. Essentially she said that although I ovulate naturally, Clomid may give a little extra boost.

Took Clomid for 50mg for 2 cycles and my bloods showed that although I ovulated, the Clomid hadn't had any affect so the dosage was increased to 100mg last month.

I hope the Clomid hasn't increased my cycle.

Thanks shoegal fx your cycle is late as your up-duffed! I'm not sure why they've increased my dosage for last month so not sure whether or not to take it.....

Thanks ginger although I'm sure that you can relate that after TTC for so long you just can't imagine getting a BFP.

Why were you prescribed Clomid?

Long irregular cycles. The 50mg has regulated my cycles & 2 7dpo blood tests for prog came in at 28 & 29 plus positive opk's so feel it is working. Not sure of the benefits of doubling does tbh. Plus periods very light so worried about affect on womb lining.

AF due on Wednesday. So far no cramping.

I've finished clomid after 4 months of 50mg. Next month will be injections of gonal-f.

Seeing the nurse this week and FC a week later. So I guess I'm out for this month.

Serenity, that's weird. Have you had a leaky boob before? Might be hormone imbalance. You should get GP to investigate. Or...you may be pregnant..

I have had it before but put it down to the pill. It more oozed a droplet or two. Now I can put fires out.

what does poas mean?

POAS means Pee On A Stick as in an ovulation stick or a pregnancy test.

oh it seems so simple now haha. anyone having wired craving. all I want is salt. salt crisp. bacon etc stuff I never ever would touch. and I dont want choclate which is something I would have everday x
