The old thread which was so popular has become full so thought we'd start one here again for us all to support one another through the clomid journey and celebrate it's successes xx

I didn't feel more tired than usual but it did make me feel really dizzy for a few hours after taking it.

Serenity do you only take 3 chlomid tablets a month?
I didn't feel tired in Clomid, just very emotional and really bad hot flushes.xxx

I've been quite relieved by lack of side effects so far as I have had horrendous experiences with the pill in the past and even had to be off work with oestrogen withdrawal a couple of times Blush

I have definitely been hotter but other than that nothing much at all, I have been tired Serenity but not really sure that it's the clomid although I have tended to wake more overnight due to being super hot - I am of course blaming my easter egg eating on the clomid though Blush

firsttimer take the clomid at night time like this you won't deel the dizyness.

serenity only 3 clomid? If you're on 3-5 your last day on clomid will be on your cd5. As far as I'm aware you don't count your cycles as per clomid intake (but I may ve wrong)

I am waking at night and early morn 5.30 for past 2 bloody weeks and not getting back to sleep till 7/8am so i feel awful when i get up around 9. least im not the only one who feels like they are overheating at night. i take my clomid in morning and luckily thats the only side effect ive had apart from sever pain and rupturing cysts around ov time lol. howz everyone today?
im excited to start looking at flats on monday its always fun untill i have to start packing and downsizing my stuff.

I'm hot flushing too but was doing this prior to Clomid. I normally sleep like a log (9pm til 6am) except for the 2 nights prior to af!

Oops. I take it from day 3 for 5 days. That makes much more sense. I haven't had hot flushes though. Had a skin breakout once and do get really moody but
I am absolutely exhausted. I'm struggling to work let alone study. If I managed to get myself knocked up how am I going to one with pregnancy tiredness?

serenity why do you only take 3 chlomid tablets, it should be 5. I took mine days 2-6 every month, and fell pregnant on my last round.

I would speak with your doctor about why you are inky taking 3 chlomid tablets. It will never work that way

Pregnancy tiredness hit me quite hard, to the point I lay on sofa all day with a nap in between and was still knackered. It's eased off a bit now at 13 weeks.

im so confused. the gyni originally told me to dtd cd10/12/14 but for the 1st 2 months I didnt get pains till cd16-18. is it possible that I did actually ov on cd 10? if so when would be earliest I could test? as since then I've had flashy smileys on the other cb digi stick I have.

Are you going for day 21 bloods Kurama? Me and ny oh dtd from the day after I finished my period til I got my day 21 bloods back, and it worked. Try doing it every day

no they only did day 21 bloods after what happened the 1st month. tho I do have a scan booked for Monday. since af finished weve dtd every 2/3 days. its hard to dtd everyday due to dh being too tired from workSad

Got af this morning. Absolutely devastated. I'd been telling myself not to get my hopes up but I'd convinced myself that I had so many symptoms of pregnancy that I was bound to get a bfp. It's only my first month taking clomid but I'm already not sure how many more months I can do this to myself.

I know what you mean about not being sure whether you can keep doing this, but you have to tell yourself now 'lets try again.'
Try to stay positive, you have another 5months worth of chlomid to keep trying, and yes when the Bitch gets you it rips you apart, but, well for me anyway, I stopped 'trying' and started enjoying sex instead of it being a routine on certain days.

Once you stop trying your mind and body will relax and miracles can happen.

Hiya all. Just catching up on the thread haven't been on for a few days.
Kerry I'm 6 weeks this week. I really hope I get a early scan. I've for multiple worrys though so I'm sure I will.
Also I reckon I'm 23 years old :)

IUI is booked for tomorrow. One follicle which is ready so fx the timing is right.

I may try to convince DH to dtd tonight!

first so sorry your feeling down. i was like that the 1st month and im the same this month.. aniversary, dhs birthday, going on holiday and hopefully signing contract for new flat ! gotta try and keep positive Dragon Grin

Sorry but the stress doesn't get any easier.......I go for my first scan tomorrow and so worried and scared I've done nothing but cry!

kerry hope all has gone well with the scan today.

I had a scan yesterday and had 2 follicles, 17mm and 19mm so I have been back to the hospital this morning and had an hcg shot - ouch! The nurse is so lovely, she really emphasised the need to have intercourse as she said that lots of people think the injection makes them pregnant Shock she'd be a millionaire if that were the case! She was so nice about hoping it works and not seeing me again - as if I need any more reason to get emotional right now Grin

I am trying not to google like mad and eat/drink crazy things to aid implantation but I think I will fail dismally at not getting obsessed.

Off for an afternoon at the spa to keep me chilled out.

Bit pish here tbh, new problem with ttc is that my prolactin levels are way too high. Waiting on apt with endocrinologist so not sure why I'm bothering with the clomid, joy! Sorry I'm a misery guts. Cheer me up by telling me about being up duffed.

I'm good doll! No bump yet just a bit of an effort to do up top button on jeans. I'm still only 8 weeks .. it ain't exactly flying by! Dr said she'd refer me for an early scan because of previous mc and my geriatric age! I do feel pregnant this time though boobs are now 34GG!!!

I know it's pish for you right now but it sounds like you're closer and closer to getting that extra bit of help your body needs to get you pregnant. You might get pregnant quite quickly once you're on the right treatment. I really really really really hope you do.

I bloody well hope so lol! 34gg, I'm so impressed. I have no boobs & toyed with idea of boob job for years. When will your early scan be? Have you had ms? So glad you've stayed on this thread, love hearing how you up duffed ladies progress.
