Hi newbies xxx

Christmas what day of your cycle are you on? Just when I found out I was pregnant it was 4days after my period was due, but how they work it out is they go off the first day of your last period, so when I found out I was 4weeks and 3/4days. You will be more than 1-2weeks if you have tested after your period is due xxx

Morning everyone

Hope you all had a lovely Easter break. I was away visiting family and didn't have internet. Was quite nice actually!

So I think I got a positive opk last Wednesday (cd17). As DH had been away with work all week, we only managed to bd on cd15 and cd18...but very late at night so technically cd19. I don't think it was enough. Really annoyed as I had gone back on clomid after a long break...only to find out that our schedules meant we could've give it our best shot. Hmm Also annoyed that the clomid seems to have lengthened my cycle to around 32 days instead of 30.

Looks like I'm on the 2ww now. But I really shouldn't bother getting excited this time. Do I have any cycle buddies? (AF due around 2nd may I think).

X

hello and welcome newbies, the ladies on here are all v supportive and lovely. This thread has been a huge support to me and I'm now addicted to checking it to see how everyone's doing.

Ginger - sorry the witch is on her way. Book yourself a luxury pamper treat for mid cycle. Are you going to FC soon? I am here rooting for you until you get that BFP and you WILL get it.

Fankle - CD15 sounds good to me. It only takes one soldier waiting there for egg, they need 10 hours to be ready for action then last 3-5 days. Might take a while for cycle to regulate, 30/32 days is not bad.

Christmas - you're probably about 4 weeks or more - there's an app on NHS website that tells you how many weeks you are going by first day of last period.

kurama · 22/04/2014 14:09

can I ask everyones ages on here? I somehow feel like I could be the youngest. but if I am its due to my medical conditionsAngry pcos and arthritis and deppression. im 26 Smile

kerrylou84 · 22/04/2014 14:34

29 Kurama. Been ttc since I was 27, started taking chlomid in june last year, just before my 28th birthday

StoneBaby · 22/04/2014 14:42

Quickly answering as I'm at work. I'm 35

Fankletastic · 22/04/2014 15:20

I'm 35 too

ImpatientOne · 22/04/2014 15:49

I'm 33 :)

I was 30 when we started TTC and have only started clomid as my consultant was pushing for us to go for IVF now that time is getting tight to meet NHS criteria :(

Phoned up to book my first day 11 scan today so it will be on Monday morning, I am getting far too excited that this treatment is going to work... As much as I try not to get my hopes up it's so difficult not to. Going to plan something nice for the start of next cycle!

AnnieHoo · 22/04/2014 16:15

40 Grin

Firsttimer9981 · 22/04/2014 16:20

I've just turned 27. Been trying for around 15 months.

Fankle - I'm due around the 2nd too, but I think clomid might have shorted my average cycle as I ovulated earlier than I expected.

kurama · 22/04/2014 21:31

i feel a bit better now, i turn 27 in december firsttimer Grin been ttc for 2 years now and been on clomid for 3 months, i have my hopes up this month too, mainly as ive never had a positive opk before, but tonight i just got a blank circle so gonna test again in morning... ive had ov pains on right side on and off all day and now its moved to left side.... gonna attack dh tonight just in case Wink

kurama · 23/04/2014 06:09

I dislike blank circles. just hoping yesterdays test wasn't false. suppose I might keep testing for a few more days to check Grin hope everyones ok this morning

HowsTheSerenity · 23/04/2014 11:31

Evening all
How I've missed MN! I was on here years ago when I was nannying in England. Australian forums are too prissy (and I missed AIBU).
So I'm 34, DH is 41 and we've been TTC for 18 months. All those years wasted on the pill!
I am blaming the clomid on making me fat...well that and Easter eggs. However I do know it makes me moody as he'll. I never had PMT symptoms but I do now.

kerrylou84 · 23/04/2014 18:44

Hey girlies.......I have a date for my scan! It's next tuesday, really can not wait.

Christmas did you work out how many weeks you are?xxx

StoneBaby · 23/04/2014 20:17

Hello newbies.

Well took my last clomid for this month yesterday and now waiting for my scan on Monday. Then IUI... As much as I've been explained the procedure, I'm 1) wondering how mamy scan I'll have next week 2) hoping it'll happen before next Friday 3) hope it works..,

j200 · 23/04/2014 20:44

Hey ladies, a few of the older posters may remember me, am a long time lurker, clomid didn't work for me so trying menopur injections instead, on my 2ww for the first cycle, due around the 30th-2nd (not sure as dont have periods!)
Good luck everyone and congrats to all the ladies who have got their BFPs

ImpatientOne · 24/04/2014 08:02

Morning :)
Stonebaby I had my last clomid last night and have a scan on Monday so I think I am a day behind you this cycle. We are not having IUI just follicular tracking but I hope it works (for all of us) too.

StoneBaby · 24/04/2014 12:18

Hi Impatient. We can keep ourseves entertained during the 2ww. Monday will be cd12 for me.

kurama · 24/04/2014 21:59

im on cd 12 now stone Grin im having a very shite day flat hunting and wondering how were gonna find money for it!
hope everyone else is having a better day!

Firsttimer9981 · 24/04/2014 22:32

Can someone tell me please, is your period due 14 days after ovulation in all cases? Or is that only if you have a 28 day cycle?

kurama · 24/04/2014 23:16

I think your period is suppost to happen 11-14days after ovulation

HowsTheSerenity · 25/04/2014 03:22

If today is day 8 of my cycle that does that mean I'm clomid day 6? I'm taking it days 3 -5.

HowsTheSerenity · 25/04/2014 07:48

And while I'm here, does any one else feel totally and utterly exhausted on clomid? I can barely keep my eyes open.
The full time shift work and study and stressful family and job don't help much either.
