The old thread which was so popular has become full so thought we'd start one here again for us all to support one another through the clomid journey and celebrate it's successes xx

AF turned up this morning. So I'll start my 4th month of clomid tomorrow. I've booked my cd 10 scan (which will be cd 12)

ginger dont worry about it, im guessing if you dont have any side effects on 50mg you shouldnt on 100mg? the gyno told me it is quite rare what happened, and i dont think ive been ovulating so thats prob why its happening.

I'm fine. To be fair I was expecting it to happen this month.

I'm on 50mg and my pains are bad. But probably not as bad as you kurama!

lol poor stone. lol who knows, mayby i dont have as high pain threshold as ppl say i do :)
I need some advice. yes my cycles are lighter since being on clomid but im still getting slight af cramps and slightly sore nipples and i should be on cd 5 currently. i did a test on day af arrived and it was a bfn....but although most of af was mostly dark coloured the last days was bright red sorry tmi. i dont know what to do.....should i test tomoro? ive already had 4 outta 5 of this months clomid tabs....

i started opk yest and got a blank circle and today (cd6) i got a flashy smiley???? didnt start getting them till cd 11 last month 28/29 day cycles so confused

Its hard to believe isn't it, you get so used to seeing only one line that you don't believe it when there are 2. Think I took about 8 tests altogether, even took one Tuesday morning this week lol.

Do you know how many weeks you are?

Thanks Kurama and Kerrylou. I was on my 3rd and final round due to health problems. Worrying though as I was told that I only had a 4mm thick lining which isn't good enough for a pregnancy. It's so hard to believe!

Congratulations on your BFP Christmas! this was your last round wasn't it?

Kurama - was today your last pill on days 2-6 of clomid? CD6 is early to start testing and so it might be a false positive from the clomid. I've heard that clomid does that. Your last months positive OPK on day 10 sounds right. Do you use the internet cheapie ov tests? They're great for double checking against the expensive CBlue tests and you can start as early as you like, do as many as you want and save on the CB ones.

Thanks all. Yeah was my last treatment. I'm still getting cramping though so I'm freaking out a little.

annie yes today was last day. I did think that but I tested yest as well and got a blank circle. im using cb digi as im waiting for ics to arrive..... I give up trying to figure out what my bodys doing

Hi Christmas - I think cramping is normal. it might just be ligaments stretching. Has it gone now?

Kurama - how are things today? Did you get a smiley face?

I can't wait to get to 8.5 weeks which was when I had MMC last time. It will feel more real after that.

annie nope still flashy smileys but I had 8 flashing last month before I ran out. got 2 packs for this month im at work and bored. cant wait to get home tonight!

ok so the clomid must have been giving me false readings. even tho the first test on cd 5 was blank. cd6+7 had flashy smileys and today its gone back to blank circle.
but on the plus side my ic opks have arrived so I can test 2/3 times a day when I do start getting flashy smileys again

Hiya Annie. I still have on off cramping but it's fine when I'm walking about so I'm thinking it's just stretching. I also done a cb digi as I used tesco cheapys and I got pregnant 1-2 so very real now

Hi all, I'm new to mums net and new to Clomid. Currently right in the middle of the awful 2ww after my first cycle of 50mg. I've got some light cramping and I've been scouring the internet for very early pregnancy symptoms. Every month I tell myself not to get my hopes up but it's so hard! Has anyone got any advice, tips or pearls of wisdom?

I'm returning to MN after many years away and am coming back to an entirely new section of MN. I've looked at other fertility forums but they were to sickly sweet.

Anyway, please excuse me as I'm learning the infertility language still.

So no babies so far (18 months) as I ground out I had submucosal fibroids, ovarian cyst, completely blocked tubes, irregular ovulation, low progesterone and egg count is a little bit low. Add in the high stress job, shift work, study, generally run down and family dramas I'm not surprised I'm not knocked up.

I've had surgery which removed the fibroids, cysts and tube blocking crap. DH is fine. No issues for him. I'm on round two of 50mg clomid days 3-7.

I'm also now back in Australia.

welcome first and serenity no words of advice feom me as im still fairly new to clomid and having problems. but fx to you both that you get your bfps soon and all the ladies on here are lovely

I'm just wading in here as started my first round of 50mg clomid on Saturday (my catholic MIL thinks it's very significant that it's the Easter weekend!)
We have been TTC since July 2011, I have been very reluctant to start any treatment but finally my consultant gave me a stern talking to and I negotiated to get monitored cycles and agreed to try clomid. Have to phone for scan tomorrow though as CD1 was Good Friday and of course the unit has been closed the whole weekend...
Anyway apart from a bit of headache it seems to be ok so far. I have burst into tears once and bitten DH's head off about the garden but not sure I can really blame the clomid

Welcome newbies, nice to have new folk join us. Looks like the witch is on her way. Month 5 of clomid, here I come.....
