The old thread which was so popular has become full so thought we'd start one here again for us all to support one another through the clomid journey and celebrate it's successes xx

I don't know why they've changed my days, but I will try anything now. I'm still in pain with the inflammation too so I'm hoping not having to take the tablets so early in cycle may let it settle. What cycle are you on Kurama?

StoneBaby · 23/03/2014 20:53

Welcome christmas i'm on my 3rd clomid cycle (my last if I understood rightly) taken on cd 2-6. Then it'll be iui for me!
I'm back having funny symptoms on clomid (light headed). Very odd as I did not get anything on my 2nd month Hmm

I do not want the weekend to end!!!

pinky42 · 23/03/2014 22:23

Hi
I am new to mumsnet. I always read the stories everyone is going through and thought it would help to discuss mine and see if anyone has any advice or on the same journey...
I have finished the second month of clomid 50mg after the first month not working. I tested my ovulation dates and did ovulate so now it's a case of waiting. We have been trying for a baby now for nearly 4 years, it had taken 2 years to get to were we are today. Really hoping this works for ha Smile

kurama · 24/03/2014 07:48

welcome pinky its always good to have people to talk to and share stuff with. christmas this is my second cycle. I have 2 more to go but im not seeing the specialist for another 4 months..... fx for everyone Smile

AnnieHoo · 24/03/2014 08:59

Hi pinky, you can buddy up with me,ginger and Fankle and anyone else in the 2 ww - sorry if I forgot someone! When are you due to test? Sounds like you've been through a lot x

Fankletastic · 24/03/2014 12:00

Hi ladies and welcome newbies!
Been a bit off the radar lately as was away for the weekend- my birthday treat.
Think I am 8 or 9 dpo. Boobs have started to hurt a bit but that's pretty normal for me. Not getting any other symptoms so think I'm out again this month. I always find the 2nd week of the 2ww more depressing as this is when the symptoms should become apparent (from my previous experience of a BFP over 2 yrs ago, which resulted in m/c).

Just generally feeling a bit low. 2.5 years of ttc =30 months. Only 1 BFP in 30 months doesn't exactly fill me with hope. This is cycle 25 after the m/c...starting to lose count tbh. Think when AF comes i will go back on Clomid.

kurama · 24/03/2014 16:15

that sucks fankle ive been trying for 2 years in may and ive prob only had 12 cycles in all that time Sad it really gets you down but im still trying to stay possitive. ive never had a bfp. I think I had a chemical a few months ago but noone was sure Sad ive only just got back to the gym after the last 3 weeks and if the same thing happens again I wont be able to go again from next week Angry

AnnieHoo · 24/03/2014 20:46

I'm the same Fankle, I'm 9dpo and look for same symptoms I had with BFP 18 months ago. I get those symptoms every month though! (road rage, irrational outbursts, boob twinges). I could see a vvvvv faint line by 9dpo on an internet cheapie by holding it over a lightbulb so I want that every time I'm 9dpo now. That ended in m/c too and nothing since.

I'm trying to leave all that behind - now is what matters and it sounds like you had a lovely birthday weekend away from all this tic worry and you are doing everything you can with the appointments you have in place.

I'll be right here with you!! I've got my stash of 3 more rounds of the stuff and then going to march up to the hospital and demand my IVF. And I'm 40!

(I'm aware that i sound like I've been brainwashed my my clomid meditation track)

StoneBaby · 24/03/2014 20:53

I too get similar symptoms PMS v pg. Nausea, tiredness but cramping.

I'm on my last clomid month as over here we only get it for 3 months. I can wait to explain DH what IUI is Hmm maybe I won't have too as ttc this month will work

Good luck to all in the 2ww and happy dtd to the others Smile

kurama · 24/03/2014 21:37

Welcome newbies (said in chirpy voice).

On my work travels again to the big smoke.

There's 4 of us in 2ww at moment? Me, fankle, annie & pinky. 1 of us at least must get a bfp, surely!

Hi Natasha
I've not heard of that before. It does make sense though. Are you doing it or thinking about it? You would have to be very closely monitored by OBGYN with regular scans obviously, were the risks discussed with you?

kurama · 26/03/2014 21:34

I've never heard of that but yer it does seem to make sense as long as you are being closely monitored. fx for those already into the tww!!!

AnnieHoo · 26/03/2014 22:10

Not feeling like it's my turn this month. No sore boobs or anything else and due AF on Sunday. Might be someone else's turn though! Smile

ItsChristmaass · 27/03/2014 16:02

Sorry to hear that ginger. Thanks
I've just started taking my clomid. Started on day 5 this cycle. Hopefully it'll work better with me this time. It has to happen.
Natasha this is the first cycle for me doing days 5-9 so I'm curious what my doc will say next week when I go for scan. I'll let you know.
