The old thread which was so popular has become full so thought we'd start one here again for us all to support one another through the clomid journey and celebrate it's successes xx

Natasha- I've done 2-6 twice before but I've moved to Germany as dh is in army. They've changed it to 5-9. The past 2 cycles I've had 2 big follicles at about 20mm. Why they wanna change it I don't know, they just said it's how it's done over here.

Oh my god i can't believe this I got a BFP! V faint line on internet cheapies so cracked open a FIrst Response I've been saving for months and got a lovely pink line straight away. I went out to tesco in a trance and bought a digital clearblue to show OH when he got home and it came up "pregnant 1-2". I am totally shocked. The clomid worked!! Early days... Hope it sticks this time Smile xxx

Aw thanks ladies! Fankle I didn't have any symptoms. I was looking for them so assumed i was out. I did have some boob twinges on Monday. Even if this egg doesn't stick it's going to at least know this treatment has worked.

AnnieHoo · 27/03/2014 22:48

I mean "good to know".

Ginger, did AF come? I hope your spotting was implantation bleeding. X

mrsjavierbardem · 27/03/2014 22:53

It took me a long time to conceive my ds (now 13) and I'd given up on another child, I took Clomid for about 3 or 4 months and got pg with dd who is now 5. I was 43 when I got pg so it felt miraculous. I took Clomid because I had low fertility or a more specific way of saying that.
I can't remember any more details as I forget medical stuff asap.
I feel that it worked for us absolutely

kurama · 28/03/2014 08:38

Gingerbreadlady1 · 28/03/2014 13:08

So pleased for you. Gonna miss you if you leave our little thread.

Still spotting only but know its just a matter of time now.

fankle itschristmas you ladies still hanging in there?

Thanks for sharing your story mrsj we love a happy ending here!

Fankletastic · 28/03/2014 13:48

Yay for flashing smily Kurama. DH recently commented that the wee flashing smiley is the same as the traffic signs that tell you you're driving within the correct speed limit! Bless- he does make me laugh!

Still hanging on and not caving to POAS. Luckily I don't tend to get spotting before AF, occasionally I'll spot for half a day before full flow. Still think I'm out though as not feeling any different to any other month (and there have been enough unsuccessful months to know). But I really do think if you focus your eyes and brain hard enough you can almost make yourself feel dizzy and nauseous! Weirdly I have had pins and needles in my left foot twice today !

Fankletastic · 28/03/2014 14:09

Oh and have had a bit of diarrhea the last two mornings. Sorry - tmi. But apart from that am feeling fine

Ginger I'm on day 6 today so got a while to go yet but nearly a week down already. Starting to get pain again from my left ovary, so I think it's being over sensitive Hmm
Should I maybe use opks this month? I've never used them before and I'm having trigger shot so I don't think I'll need them will I?

kurama · 28/03/2014 17:23

Christmas I dont think u will need them if ur having trigger shots. arnt they suppost to make u ov 12-24hours after you havr had the injection?

ItsChristmaass · 28/03/2014 19:10

Kurama yeah within 24-36 hours I was told last time. I wasn't offered it in the uk! Can't believe how different it is over here. I won't bother with the opks then Smile
