The old thread which was so popular has become full so thought we'd start one here again for us all to support one another through the clomid journey and celebrate it's successes xx

I know, I saw that and felt exactly the same! Eeh her poor boyfriend in that delivery room with her dad..........LOL!

Ooh I hope so hun! Are you testing first thing?xxx

kurama · 14/03/2014 21:35

Im watching that one now kerrylou !!!

Shoegal30 · 15/03/2014 01:13

I'm out ladies. AF turned up today but I'm back on the Clomid tomorrow so hopefully this is our month.

Kurama and Stone good luck - hope you get your BFPs xx

RedSpringer · 15/03/2014 01:26

Hi, just dropping in to say don't lose faith! We tried for 4 years before eventually getting BFP thanks to Clomid. I did 3 months on 50mg and 3 months on 100mg, I fell on my .6th and final month before we were due to move onto IVF.
Unless you have been through infertility you just can't understand how horrendous it is, it consumes you entirely. Keep positive - I had my miracle baby two years ago now & you can have yours too!x

kerrylou84 · 15/03/2014 07:32

Hi Red.... Congratulations. I too fell on my last round. I was starting to loose hope and the thought of paying thousands of pounds for ivf was terrifying.

I am 7 weeks today, off to see the midwife on Wednesday then hopefully a scan.xxx

kerrylou84 · 15/03/2014 07:39

lotty are you still around? Just want some advice.

My boobs are so so so sore Sad and it's sometimes hard to get comfortable at night. Even when I take my bra off, is hurts. Being big chested they feel really heavy and it's mainly down the sides where they are sore. Did you experience this? If so what kind of support or pain relief did you use?xxx

kurama · 15/03/2014 07:52

StoneBaby · 15/03/2014 11:53

karuma Sad.

kerry impressed by the daily dtd. DH needs magic pills so won't be able to do it for 21 days

Gingerbreadlady1 · 15/03/2014 12:30

Good afternoon all, sorry to all that AF got. Treat yourself to lots of wine!

kurama, I love that I now have normal length cycles on clomid, it cheers me a little when AF comes knowing that its only a couple of weeks before we can try again rather than months!

Thanks for sharing your story red, love hearing good news as gives me hope.

kurama · 15/03/2014 14:30

yer ginger I suppose that is a good thing. if they stay the same lenght we have a good chance on getting a bfp a lot sooner Smile

Shoegal30 · 15/03/2014 18:48

Echo what the other ladies have said Red - thanks for sharing your story.

I was telling DH later as we both felt a little down earlier that AF had come but your story gave us some much needed hope. Good to hear that Clomid works.

Did you have regular cycles prior to using Clomid?

StoneBaby · 15/03/2014 21:14

shoe my cycles were anything between 31 to 45 prior to Clomid.

I think AF is in the way as the 'symptoms' are reducing and the cramping increasing...

StoneBaby · 15/03/2014 21:19

I'm watching the obem too tonight. Why are we toturing ourself watching this programm????

StoneBaby · 15/03/2014 21:41

Oops! Torturing

kurama · 15/03/2014 22:34

yes watching obem is torture! he amount of times ive cried or wanted to throw remote at tv! only had one round of clomid so far. but this was def my shortest cycle. mine were anything from 34 days to 6 months apart before! now as long as I dont end up with a ruptured cyst again on round 2 I should be good!

Fankletastic · 16/03/2014 10:27

I avoid OBEM at all costs!

Shoegal30 · 16/03/2014 11:46

I've never watched OBEM and refuse to watch it now that I'm TTC. I know I'd be in pieces.

Well on the upside ladies - it's a sunny days. Hope you all have a good one xx

Gingerbreadlady1 · 16/03/2014 14:29

How's everyone's weekend going?

I got a positive opk so the shagathon had started! ....

Fankletastic · 16/03/2014 14:35

Yay for the shagathon! I got my positive opk on Friday (earlier than usual) so have had a bit of a horizontal weekend! Well, as much as you can bear when you've for a cold. Have come down with a bad head cold over the weekend Hmm

Hoping that's a good sign that my immune system is losing some of its power - amazingly I haven't been ill since my miscarriage! And I used to get colds quite often before that. Not sure if there could be a link there...and if miscarriage can sometimes jolt the immune system into overdrive...?
Either way, it's a bit rubbish having a cold but I'm kinda happy about it. Weird!

Fankletastic · 16/03/2014 14:37

got a cold!
Honestly- there are not enough tissues in the world right now!
