The old thread which was so popular has become full so thought we'd start one here again for us all to support one another through the clomid journey and celebrate it's successes xx

mine asked if we could dtd when he gets back and promptly got told to fuck off cpz he wouldn't do it the other day fpr fear of hurting me and the pain is worse at mo so why should he get what he wants when hes pissed?! think he realised mood swing week has hit.just been watching obem and spent the whole time bawling! I feel so patheticSad

Gingerbreadlady1 · 09/03/2014 11:28

Thanks lotty, part of my bulk amazon purchase was concieve plus so we'll see how that goes.

Fx annie, I'm away next wk for work so really hoping I don't pop early! Would be typical!

kurama I can relate, met my friends new born yesterday, delighted for her but made me so Sad

Also I really don't believe half of the people who claim to have "accidentally" fallen preg. It def happens but reckon alot of women decide they want a baby and it then suddenly happens hmmm, call me suspicious lol!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 09/03/2014 11:37

kerry is your o/h still black eye free lol?

kerrylou84 · 09/03/2014 13:31

Yes he is ginger......only just though!!

I've been in such an emotional state today and I have no idea why.

I told Graham that I've dreamed of this but now it's actually real I'm starting to feel scared.

I had a dream last night that I went to the toilet and there was loads of blood. I know it's just a stupid dream but knowing I have 6weeks left til the worst part is over just scares me xxx

kurama · 09/03/2014 18:57

kerry ive been having weirder dreams than normal recently too. was watching obem last night and crying at every baby born. and today dh commented that I was being 'clingy'... Sad def sore nipples now and feeling a bit upset which is normal pre af but im clinging onto hope that the pain I had yest could be implantation. not grasping at straws at all mood swings are normal. being clingy is not.
howz everyone else doing today?! Grin anyone else due to poas this coming week????

kurama · 09/03/2014 19:22

sorry I forgot what thread I wss on witj last sentanceBlush still being distracted by achy abdomen but its better than yest Smile

Gingerbreadlady1 · 09/03/2014 19:33

When you planning to poas kurama? Exciting!

kerry, think ill be a nervous wreck when I get my bfp till wk 12. Half way there hon.

kurama · 09/03/2014 19:43

well if the clomid is regualating my cycles I should be due on fri/sat. and im thinking they should be due to pre af signs im getting Smile

kerrylou84 · 09/03/2014 21:04

Hopefully Kurama the sore nipples are a good sign! I've had them for about 3weeks, even before I found out I was pregnant and now my boobs are starting to hurt.
It's such a relief at the end of the day to take my bra off!

Also, I was very clingy too. We always snuggle in at a night time but was wanting to more than usual. I would fall asleep on graham and he would tell me to go to bed, but I would refuse as I wanted to stay with him!

Christ I sound like a reet bunny boiler lol.

Really have my fingers crossed for you xxx

Xxx

kurama · 09/03/2014 22:33

AnnieHoo · 10/03/2014 10:08

Morning ladies hope the sun is shining where you are! Does anyone know if Clomid can mess up your CBFM readings? Im not sure whether to believe my first 'high' on monnie today. CD9 is early for me to get a high. I usually get first high at CD12 then 2 more H and 2 Peaks. I'm praying to the hormone gods that my first peak arrives before lunchtime on Thursday so at least I'm in with a chance - or last high next Monday when I get back would be just fine too. Not going to stress myself out checking all the time though...Wink

kerrylou84 · 10/03/2014 10:41

Hi Annie.

I'm really clueless when it comes to the abbreviations so I have just googled CBFM and the results were Community Based Forest Management Grin lololol
Xxx

kurama · 10/03/2014 11:12

im still getting to grips with it byt I think it means clear blue fertility moniter Smile

AnnieHoo · 10/03/2014 11:39

Sorry Kurama! Haha forestry management would be a whole lot easier than this! Grin

kurama · 10/03/2014 14:30

Definitely! !! Grin

Lottystar · 10/03/2014 14:50

Hey ladies, just checking in with you all. I just booked my gender scan at 16 weeks so 3.5 weeks to go until I see bubba again. It gets addictive and these scans are expensive! Wink

Hope you're all okay and your chaps are out of the dog house Karuma and Kerry?

I never used CBFM as apparently with PCOS it can be unreliable so know zip about those alas xx

kerrylou84 · 10/03/2014 16:30

Ah fab lotty! Roll on the days xxx

Yes he is out the dog house........bless him lol. Poor bugga if he has to out up with these mood swings til baby comes haha xxx

Gingerbreadlady1 · 10/03/2014 19:53

annie, yup, read that cbfm can't be used with fertility meds as your hormones will be at artificial levels. Not using mine but am using opk's which have been fine. I'm away for work, AGAIN! Getting fed up with it. Away till Thursday so praying I don't get positive opk early this month as a 7hr drive for oh out the question, 3 1/2hrs last month was bad enough.

You away somewhere or o/h? Youre on an island aren't you? (When I'm home) I'm Glasgow. The weather got progressively nicer as I drove south today! Loving the forestry management lol.

kurama · 10/03/2014 20:38

he wasnt by the time he got home coz i was in full insecurity mode and i was just happy he was home lol. he did get his wish to dtd, not easy stopping a drunk guy anyway lol. had a great day out on sun and he will really be in good books if he brings dominos home with him after work :)
i also embarrassed myself by going psycho at a mate for suggesting something, to be fair he knows how crap im feeling and should know better than to try and bate me the week before... yes it knows what time of month it is lol :P

kurama · 10/03/2014 20:54

well hes back in doghouse as hes managed to forget my favourite pizza side dish... no dtd tonight for him Wink

AnnieHoo · 10/03/2014 22:02

Thanks Ginger - will ditch the Monitor for now and keep using the internet cheapie OPK's. Have a Clear blue smiley face OPK I think I'll crack open since it's a special occasion!

OH usually away but this time it's me heading down to Loch Lomond to meet friends for Spa weekend. Can't wait!!Grin I totally need it.

Will keep fingers Xd you get back to Glasgow in good time!

Do you know what's next for you after this round? I have made an appt with GP on thurs to find out.

Kurama - hope you get a foot rub tonight since you didn't get dominos... Or was is KerryLou who wanted the foot rub?!Wink Hope you are both well anyway!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 10/03/2014 22:07

I've an appointment on 4th April as I should have finished my 6months cloud by then but due to mega long cycles and early mc I was late starting clomid so still got 3mths. Going to go and ask lots of annoying questions lol!

Very jealous of your spa weekend, sounds great! If it's Cameron house I'm mega jealous. Fxed your cycle behaves itself too.

AnnieHoo · 10/03/2014 22:31

I have a feeling I'll just be offered another 3 months of clomid but will be asking about IUI and IVF.

Cameron House baby!! Get me into that rooftop hottub! X

Gingerbreadlady1 · 10/03/2014 22:53

Lucky bugger Smile!!!!!my in laws are balloch. You need a treat, we all need to take care of ourselves as the ttc malarkey puts you through the wringer. Good luck for Thursday, will be wanting all the same info as you so we can compare notes. My appt is with the fertility specialists, have you not been referred? Did your gp prescribe clomid?

AnnieHoo · 10/03/2014 23:13

I have been really run down and didn't realise how much emotional strain id put myself under. Made myself ill. Really looking after myself now! Was referred to ob/gyn consultant before Xmas who prescribed Clomid and said go back if it hasn't worked after 3 months and ask for a repeat prescription. I wasted time by listening to GP who said 'come back in a year'. My new GP was shocked I hadn't been referred for clomid before and immediately referred me and mentioned IVF so I've learned to be more assertive. Smile
