Emma, I am pregnant with Met / Clomid combo, I have my 12 week scan Friday I did fall pregnant before on just clomid but it ended in mc. My GP advised me to keep taking the Metformin until 12 weeks to keep my progesterone levels up this time. Good luck to you and any questions this is a friendly thread to post x

The last couple of days my stomach has been so bloated, I actually looked pregnant! It's gone down a bir today though. I've read that you can get bloated in early stages, dos this happen to you lotty?

Aww Lotty! How exciting! 12 weeks :) congratulations! That's jut what I wanted to hear :) you know when u want something so bad I'm going a bit crazy!! Obviously everyone is different and it may not work for me, I'm just praying it does! I can't wait to get on clomid and see if it will be my miracle drug I need to get pregnant! I cant help but get my hopes up!!! Even though I know I shouldn't :( I've got to wait for 2 mths tho while they check my tubes are clear and got to have a cd21 and cd 37 blood test for my progesterone levels - never had that done before! I do
Hope it works! I only went to gyne on Tuesday and can't wait for my 2 mths to go by so I can start and see if it will work for me! :) don't think people who don't have fertility issues understand how stressful an emotional it is to go through this! One min I'm so excited thinking about a future with my own baby then next I'm down as it may never happen! Xxx

Kerry, I am still bloated now - an increase in progesterone, one of the pregno hormones, screws up your digestive system. I was constipated (sorry if tmi) for weeks in the beginning and then had the opposite problem. My belly looked like a ball. Very windy too! Is all going well otherwise?

Emma, it takes over your life, honestly. We all understand, but it's hard for those without fertility issues to comprehend how desperate you can feel sometimes when your body won't comply! Just think positively about clomid, look into a reputable, experienced acupuncturist / reflexologist and try to relax where you can. Stress is not good for baby making. Wishing you every success x

well I went back to work today so im shattered but happy as it kept me distracted all day :) feeling loads better as im now back on just cocodomol so no more tramadol giving me headaches and making me feel sick stomach still a bit tender if I move to fast but I know from before it takes time to heal. hope I find out about bloods soon. roll on 15th a bfp is the least my body can do after all it puts me through lol

Yeah everything is going really well so far, the bloated belly has shrank a little lol. My boobs today are starting to feel sore and it's just the tiredness that's getting to me.

All well, bubba was jumping all over the place. Great to see the little arms and legs wriggling around! So relieved. Tiredness is a killer in the first trimester Kerry, I read that your body expends more energy in early pregnancy that it does when usually exercising.

All good here! Day 6 and ready to go go go!! The supplies arrived from Amazon today - keeping ClearBlue in business. How's things with you ginger?

Yup I'm good, read an article about ttc/age which has made me more optimistic, cycle 19 so surely I must be due a bfp, statistically it should happen. Bring on the dtd marathon!

well I survied Thursday ginger. but I still need the tramadol coz im on my feet and moving around all day. I just hope today goes ok! not back till tues after today. pains no worse right now but no better either im sure I did ov coz yest my boobs started getting sore and im due af around 15th? if on time! ao happy for you lemon

ginger if i have got things right i should be 7dpo :) kinda happy but bummed out as one of my workmates found out they are having a little boy yest. im so happy for them but gutted as that makes 5 friends recently that have fallen preggers without even trying....

Ginger and Annie, good luck on this cycle girls, you may already use it but I found Activ balance conceive gel good. As I've said before the SMEP is worth a try if you've not fine it before. Hoping it's both your month!

Kuruma, are they going to scan you for overstimulation to see that you don't release too many eggs? Some women are very sensitive on clomid.

Thanks Lotty! I was going to say I'm taking your advice and doing SMEP this month - started early! I have kind of being doing it anyway but tend to "give up" straight after temp rise so will keep going this month. Problem is I'm off to a girls spa weekend so will be away from hubby fri sat and Sunday night. Expecting to ov a week on tues or wed but would be typical if that smiley face pops up while I'm away! Going to get the spray too Lotty. I really hope it works for us Ginger!! 3rd time lucky x

lottystar i think the next scan is to see if the swelling from hyperstimulation is starting to get better or not. started with mood swings tonight so im in a sucky mood stuck in flat by myself while dh is out getting pissed. starting to lose hope for this month :(

question for you all. does anyone else have chosen/favorite names ready for the lo? we've already decided that at least i don't want to know the sex when it eventually happens. i suppose i could change my mind lol

Kurama I am in exactly the same mood as my oh went out for an hour........still waiting for his return!! I never mind him going out but I've been in the shortest fettle all day today and my hormones are going mad that when he's back he'ok be getting 2 blaack eyes! (not really but that's the mood in in)

He was going to stay in and rub my feet.......arsehole!
