I love the fact that you check back in here lotty!

kerrylou84 · 26/02/2014 08:08

Omg twins! Lol. It's quite possible though as my partner has twin girls and there are twins on my side of the family too, eeeeek!

Ah bet you can't wait lotty!

I've just tried to book in with my doctor but he's only in this morning and not in next week, so I've asked for a phone call appointment but there's none, so I told that very nice receptionist that I want squeezed in for a 2minute fone call lol. She said she will speak to him when he gets in, and he's really nice so think he will ring.xxx

kurama · 26/02/2014 09:39

So happy to hear it's working for people! fingers crossed for everyone

kerrylou84 · 26/02/2014 15:57

Thankyou kurama.

I'm booked in with the midwife on the 19th march, it's too far away!

When I spoke to my doctor on the phone he was over the moon and said he will have to go for a pink tonight lol.
Xxx

AnnieHoo · 26/02/2014 16:55

Aw your doctor sounds lovely!!! SmileSmile

kerrylou84 · 26/02/2014 18:47

Ha just realised that was meant to say pint not pink lol xxx

kerrylou84 · 26/02/2014 18:50

lotty how far where you when you found out you were pregnant and did you have any symptoms?
I don't know if it's just because I know I'm pregnant or what but I keep feeling little pains in my stomach. It could be just my mind going overtime maybe.
I feel like I need to take another test cos I'm scared it's not real, but I'm too scared to incase it's negative. I don't feel any different apart from a bit more tired than usual xxx

Gingerbreadlady1 · 26/02/2014 19:38

You managed not to poas yet annie?

AnnieHoo · 26/02/2014 20:27

Of course I haven't ginger! Zero willpower here. BFN this evening. Had major road rage today - proper lost itConfused Feels like PMT. A bit crampy too and lots of twinges in ovary. Think AF is on the way... How about you?

Gingerbreadlady1 · 26/02/2014 20:31

No pre-AF symptoms here but that's not unusual though I had spotting a good few days before AF last month. I'm really busy on residential course so lots of distractions.

Hope the witch stays away for you & cramps isn't a sign. Plus pmt or not I'm awful for road rage Blush, swear like a trooper! You're in till the witch appears!

Lottystar · 27/02/2014 00:35

It's good to comeback on this thread Ginger as I know how you're all feeling and how crappy it can be ttc when there are difficulties. Also I don't feel legitimately pregnant yet as in I'm so frightened of mc after the last one in Oct it just feels too good to be true. And hey if I can offer a modicum of advice from my clomid experience then it's all good stuff Smile

I found out I was pregnant at 9dpo Kerry, so crazy early. I must have implanted early to get a positive then. Try not to worry about cramps, I had cramps like period pains on and off since day 1. It's your uterus stretching and changing. Tell tale sign for me that I was pregnant was increased cervical mucus and constipation. I always get constipated in pregnancy. Sorry if tmi. Then came crazy tiredness and nausea. I'd advise you to look into early reassurance scans Kerry, it makes that wait more bearable. 12 weeks feels like forever otherwise. They cost between 70 - 100 but are worth it for peace of mind. They say around 8 weeks is ideal for the scan and then you have something to look forward to as well.

Good luck to the rest of you ladies x

Stick with us Lotty! Have you asked for an early scan? Not long to go until your 12wk scan.

How many rounds of Clomid did you do? I'm thinking about going back to GP if my 2nd round doesn't work to speed things up and move on to next option if it doesn't work. Not sure what next stage would be. Upping the dose to 100mg seems to be what happens..I'm 40 so don't have time to hang about.

kerrylou84 · 28/02/2014 08:37

Yes stay with us lotty and keep us informed and reI think as I didnntmassured.

I had a bit of a cry yesterday. Just because I've been feeling scared that it's not real and worried that something is going to go wrong. Feel like I need to take more tests and to have a scan.

Was just emotional yesterday, in a state of shock i think as I didn't believe it would ever happen!
Feel a bit better today though xxx

kerrylou84 · 28/02/2014 19:02

Oh my god I have just read back my last post and havnt a clue what it was meant to say lol. Xxx

AnnieHoo · 28/02/2014 19:56

Kerrylou you're in shock! It's totally understandable - it's an emotional rollercoaster!! You're hormones will be raging! Smilexxx

Lottystar · 28/02/2014 20:00

KerryLou, surely we can't blame baby brain quite yet Wink

It's hard to believe at first when you've wanted something so long. Book that early reassurance scan! At least you will not have to wait for the 12 week scan then, trust me when you see a little peanut shaped bubba and heartbeat flickering away it feels much more real.

Annie, I had to be upped to 100mg, didn't ovulate on 50mg. 100mg did make me feel like my ovaries were about to pop mind. I fell pregnant on 2nd Clomid cycle but mc at 6 weeks ish in Oct and then took a break for a few months, had acupuncture for fertility and was put on Metformin too for my PCOS. Tried the Clomid again in December, having managed to ovulate on my own in November (first time in nearly 2 years naturally) and boom, I am now 10 weeks pregnant. Scan a week away, nervous and excited Smile I hope it works out for you too!

Hi all, was speaking to a chap who has a 7yr old after wife was on clomid for 3yrs. 3 yrs!!!! How could anyone cope?

AnnieHoo · 28/02/2014 22:29

7 YEARS!!! Shock

AnnieHoo · 28/02/2014 22:30

Oops Smile .. I mean.. 3 YEARS!!!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 28/02/2014 23:10

You've been on clomid for 3yrs annie, wow! That must be hard, I think I've got away relatively lightly with the clomid symptoms, have the flushes & slight mood changes. This chap said it was hell the whole time! Also I thought they only let you do it for 6 months?

is the witch still away? You're AF on the 3rd too, you still poas? I've remained strong & resisted (so far) this month.

AnnieHoo · 28/02/2014 23:41

No!! Haha! I'm only on my second month of Clomid. Was shocked at 3 years though, that must be awful. I'm totally PMT at the moment.. Expecting the witch to come.. Temp still up today day 30 .. 12dpo..

kerrylou84 · 01/03/2014 06:51

3 years? Thought you could only use it for 6 months?

Yeah is too early for baby brain yet but ive been coming out with some right gobbledegook lol.

I'm 5weeks today!

Hope you gets BFP's girls xxx

Gingerbreadlady1 · 01/03/2014 10:36

Oh sorry, confused lol! Annie were both still in this month but like you I'm not feeling too hopeful this month

AnnieHoo · 01/03/2014 11:03

That was me confusing you ginger sorry! I tested this morning, Snow White BFN. Have you got any signs? None here. Boobs not sore, no heartburn or anything. Doesn't look like it's going to happen this month. Wish AF would just arrive now so I can get on with next cycle. At least I'll be able to have a champers and aromatherapy massage at spa weekend I've booked with my friends this month - can't wait. Looking for the positives here. Fingers crossed for a BFP for you on Monday Ginger! X

Gingerbreadlady1 · 01/03/2014 12:43

Thanks Annie. Your weekend away sounds brilliant, would love a piece of that action! No symptoms what so ever, I'm the same, basically waiting for af so we can get on with it. Although I'd love if our cross country dash resulted in a bfp as it would be a hell of a story. Please oh May not think we're so mental after all, hehe.
