I meant BFNs not BFPs this morning!!!

Lottystar · 24/02/2014 10:29

Oh bless you Annie, that's a horrid comedown after getting you all excited! And it did look like a positive too. It happened to me with the blue dye tests so I know how you feel. I got my bfp this time at 9dpo so must have implanted early, which is apparently a good sign. But best to try and wait until your period is due, not that I ever could! I've started slimming world today, only diet supported by midwives. I've been a proper muncher since miscarriage in Oct, emotional eater Wink

Sending good baby vibes to all of you xxx

Is this pregnancy tests? I'm doing mine tomorrow morning as 3days late now (before chlomid my cycle was so irregular but now I'm coming on 2weeks after ovulation, so that's what I'm going off )

Let us know Annie xxx

AnnieHoo · 24/02/2014 16:09

Thanks Lottystar, it's a killer! Having a miscarriage means you're far more realistic so I knew it was unlikely so early and I don't feel pregnant ...yet! I'm so excited for you the nearer it gets to your 12wk scan! I've been told that Clomid works and you are the proof ! How many rounds of it did you do?

Hi KerryLou, yes I was testing with cheap internet bought dip sticks (£5 for about 100) they're the same as the ones the NHS use but I got a dodgy one that looked positive but wasn't. I'm on day 26 but going to try and be strong like you and wait til after AF due which is not until 3rd March!! I really really hope you get a positive tomorrow. X

kerrylou84 · 24/02/2014 18:19

One born every minute starts again tonight ladies.....I can't wait!xxx

Gingerbreadlady1 · 24/02/2014 19:25

Good luck kerry!

annie if af hasn't got me I'll be testing on the 3rd too!

Lottystar · 24/02/2014 19:54

I did three rounds of clomid Annie, first on 50mg and I didn't ovulate. Second round was 100 mg and I fell pregnant but mc at 6 weeks Hmm Third on 100mg and I fell pregnant again and now 10 weeks. I reacted well to it in terms of fertility but had horrid side effects. Of course all worth it!

Good luck ladies, make sure you have a first response test in the cupboard, when I had the faintest, faintest, faintest line on an internet cheapy, I got a good obvious line on first response. Hoping for some bfps x

Hi
Me and me boyfriend have been on no protection for 4 years and never got pregnant, I have started my tests and stuff a few months ago, I am starting my first cycle of clomid on my next cycle, I have open tubes everything is fine just haven't been caught. Is anyone else the same as me and had positive results from clomid??
Thanks xxx

kerrylou84 · 25/02/2014 08:12

Had a very faint positive line this morning, so going to get myself a clear blue to double check.

After all the negative tests I've had I can't actually picture myself getting a positive.

Hi Shannon your story sounds similar to mine. Me and my partner never used protection cos I always had a feeling I couldnt get pregnant, so when it came the time when we both said we wanted a baby I told him that I had a feeling. So I went to the docs and blood tests confirmed I wasn't ovulating.

Have you had blood tests to see if you are ovulating?xxx

kurama · 25/02/2014 08:29

hi I started 1st round of clomid this month after trying for 2 years. always had really irregular cycles and pcos been confirmed. was in hospital for a week couple years ago for a ruptured cyst.... really hoping this works!

kerrylou84 · 25/02/2014 09:24

Good news girls!! Bought a first response and got a big FAT positive!!! Can't actually believe it xxx

AnnieHoo · 25/02/2014 09:48

OMG KerryLou that is FANTASTIC!!!!!! GrinGrinGrin Eeeeek!!! I love good news!!! You must be so happy xxxx

kerrylou84 · 25/02/2014 10:35

Thankyou Annie.
Yeah I'm happy but I can't believe it, so so shocked! I'm that used to the negatives it's so strange xxx

Shannon1994 · 25/02/2014 13:18

Yer I've had the blood tests, I've had the hsg X-ray test I'm all fine it's just not happening. I worry incase there's nothing wrong but I'm just not meant to have a baby. It's a horrible feeling xxx

kerrylou84 · 25/02/2014 13:29

Shannon I've been feeling like that too, I've been on rock bottom and it's just awful. You see people with babies and you feel a jealousy towards them.

Just don't give up hope, try not to think about it too much and relax. It's worked for me even though I don't believe it still.

I'm going to try and book in with my doctor this week. If dates are correct I should be due on Halloween lol xxx

AnnieHoo · 25/02/2014 13:45

Hi Shannon, it does get you down and it's hard going trying to remain hopeful sometimes. It just takes time and you are doing all the right things getting tests, investigations and keeping informed. See how you go with the Clomid, I had given up and was bottling it up and getting really weepy all the time and overwhelmed with sadness but making steps like getting referred to OBGYN, getting Clomid, feeling ovulation big time after first round, having more regular periods, joining this forum for support Wink... All little steps ... It's all you can do to keep the hope up x

Shannon1994 · 25/02/2014 13:58

Aw really that's lovly! I can't wait to just be able to say I'm pregnant! It makes me sad all the time every single one of my friends have babies or expecting even my other halfs friends have babies. It's like I'm the only one in the world that it don't seem to be happening too, I just can't wait for my clomid and hopefully I'll get positive results. Fingers crossed!! Xxx

Lottystar · 25/02/2014 14:03

Wow KerryLou! So happy for you, congratulations. On the last cycle of clomid too - you do know how to put yourself through it eh? Wink You guys must be super excited. September baby for me, October baby for you x

Welcome to the newcomers too Smile

Hi lotty. I'm excited, but in shock. It hasn't sunk in at all. I've just taken another test there, same as what I took first thing this morning and a faint second line came up. Was a definite positive with the first response, but taking the other one later, just to make sure lol.

I first got chlomid on June and got 6months worth, 8months down the line and after many emotional temper tantrums I am finally where I want to be!

Thankyou so much girls for all of your advice and support, it really means a lot xxx

Gingerbreadlady1 · 25/02/2014 18:45

Thanks CONGRATULATIONS Kerry! Wonderful to see a bfp! Really chuffed for you!

kerrylou84 · 25/02/2014 18:55

Thankyou ginger! I've taken 4 tests today and all positive!
I'm over the moon, just ant wait for a scan to see if everything is ok.

Fingers crossed for all of you, it will happen!xxx

j200 · 25/02/2014 19:32

Gingerbreadlady1 · 25/02/2014 19:32

kerrylou84 · 25/02/2014 19:40

Thankyou j200 xxx

Been a hell if a day, who would of though good news could be so exhausting!xxx

Lottystar · 25/02/2014 22:46

Just keep smiling and enjoy the feeling KerryLou, you never know it might even be clomid twins Wink
