The old thread which was so popular has become full so thought we'd start one here again for us all to support one another through the clomid journey and celebrate it's successes xx

Got mine crossed! 159 is way too high, you'd be Octo- mum if you got pregnant. 41 is spot on from what ive researched.i really need some fast time advice so hoping a few of you are on line tonight. Here goes....

Away from home for 2 weeks (no choice), was hoping to catch ov at the weekend but typically, it's came early, for the first time ever I have a normal cycle! I'm on 6mths clomid, this is month 2. Had great ewcm yesterday & today. And bloomin +opk today. Oh had said he will drive 3 1/2hrs & stay in a hotel so I can sneak away tomorrow (on residential course) to dtd. Is this madness? I really don't want to miss out a month as 6 months is all we get. What should we do!!! Help a crazy lady please!

Gingerbread lady - yes it's mad BUT I've done it! I was away when I got a positive OPK etc and ended up spending £300 to fly home a day early!! It's mad but when time is not on your side you have to go for it. It seems that every time I plan a weekend away with the girls or have a work trip I get my peak day! Hubby tells me off for trying to "micro-manage" the situation but those months are precious! I say go for it - skipping work sounds a thrill!!! Wink

kerry, it's egg white cervical mucus (nice eh?). It changes before\at ov to nourish and facilitate passage of sperm.

annie, you convinced me, we may be nutters but at least we're nutters together Grin

Think we're (mental?!?) gonna go for it but will sleep on it. the train is a good option (cheaper & less hassle) and I can stay out overnight so would keep us in the running this month. God! The lengths we go to!!

Thanks lotty. If I'm right I should be due my period today, but no signs of it yet! Usually I feel cramps a day or so before hand.

Had a dream last night that I had a positive test, been thinking whether I should take one or just leave it til tomorrow. Xxx

No hun, I'm going to test tomorrow morning. Still no crampy pains or anything but a bit emotional, so tomorrow will tell!

Test was negative, but I'm not letting that dishearten me as it was just a cheap test, will leave it bow til next week.
Still no sign of the Bitch arriving though!xxx

How many dpo are you kerry, feeling positive for you!

I'm now in the 2ww although not feeling very confident this month, not sure if we missed our window despite Herculean effort. And it's been a bfn every other month when we've shagged like rabbits at the right time!

How you getting on annie? Out of interest, this months ov pains were way less intense than last months. Could still feel it but it was like normal, non clomid ov pains.

How's everyone's weekend going?

Hi ladies!
Just waiting now, trying not to think about if too much until this time next week at least. I'm 6dpo so too soon for any symptoms.
I don't feel very hopeful but at least I know we did it at the right time and everything we could do... except I need to lose a stone and I'm already having a myself a large wine tonight!
Would be so great to hear good news from any of us soon xx

Hi ginger. I'm day 29 today, and sure by the bloods taken on day 21 that I ovulated on day 14, so I should have been due my dooh daahs yesterday.

Still no signs/symptoms of it arriving.

I've had wine tonight and it was much needed, but that's it now, all water and veg from now on as I am adamant I am getting pregnant without ivf!!xxx

I'm juicing again this morning - totally addictive. Bought a juicer as felt my system was really low after bad cold so cut out wine (more or less with one or two blow outs!) in jan and feb. Haven't lost and weight but juicing veg gives you and aaamazing high and energy all day. Spinach, carrots, peppers apples...anything I have kicking about. It's really given my mood lift. Still Having my bacon Sarnie afterwards!!!Wink

Lol! I tried a 5 day juicing diet (all pre prepared & delivered to the house). Fell off the wagon on day 2 with a king kebab!!! Blush

I eat healthily during week and treat myself at weekends. I'm going to aim for another 6lb off then il be 11stone.

I've still no sign of period! Saying that, no sign of pregnancy either mind xxx

I was a bit stupid this morning and did an internet cheapie test....too early but I have no willpower so just did it for "fun" - I've got 100 of them just sitting there looking at me Wink anyhoo.... It looked positive and I had a wee moment of pure joy before thinking .. Better do another one to check. I've done a few now and they've all been total BFNs. I think it must have been a very cruel dye "bleed" which I've read you can get with cheapie tests. Serves me right! I'm only 7-8dpo! Here's this mornings pic ... This link to the photo might work better.. I'm 100% sure it's a false positive and there will be nothing there in the morning again... wishful thinking but lessons to be learned in testing to early...

  1. BFPs this morning. I was right it was dye run. That internet cheapie test sent me loopy all day yesterday. What a waste of time!! I'm just so hopeful that Clomid is going to work this time..here's hoping for good news coming our way soonish! X
