If I remember rightly, the last update I saw was the "around 9.10" but that they were working with the witness to establish an exact time.

So maybe the witness thought it was around 9.10 but that's now changed because they've managed to get a better estimate of the time.

Or maybe someone's keyed in a 2 instead of a 1 by mistake.

Witness had interaction with x5 & x6, including, them, at scene:

So that’s quite a few people around at the time.

Just hope she is found soon.

@Diverging it’s unclear & I am not sure if the alleged ‘fishing bait poss lured dog to river’s edge’ witness, was the one the police appealed for early on? (The original witness flags them up)? Not singling anyone out here, but just to say I think this was poss the person who was later cleared/came forward?

I wonder if there's a person the police are interested in, and all this stuff about saying she's probably in the river etc. is supposed to make the perpetrator let their guard down and do something that will help them.

Here's the timeline from the Lancashire Police update today detailing the witnesses that saw Nicola:

8.26am- Nicola leaves her home address with her children

8.40am- Nicola drops the children off at school and has a brief conversation with another parent.

8.43am – Nicola walked along the path by the River Wyre towards the gate/bench into the lower field, having dropped her children off at school

8:47am (approximately) - A dog-walker – somebody who knows Nicola – saw her walking around the lower field with her dog. Their two dogs interacted briefly before the witness left the field via the river path

8.53am – She sent an email to her boss

8.59 am- She sent message to a friend

9.01am – She logged into a Teams call

9.10am (approximately) – A witness – somebody who knows Nicola – saw her on the upper field walking her dog, Willow. Work is ongoing today to establish exactly what time this was.

9.20- Her phone was back in the area of the bench

9.30am – The Teams call ended but Nicola stayed logged on

9.33am (approximately) – Nicola’s mobile phone and Willow were found at a bench by the river by another dog-walker.

But no detail on what happened between 9.33 and 10.50 when they had previously stated that the school was informed and contacted the family.

Apparently, in the full interview he confirmed they will be searching the water at the bench area tomorrow.

@Baileysandcream thanks for posting that & the clarity:

1. How do the x2 that tried to get phone off lockscreen, whilst call still in progress (?) potentially fit?
2. ’she must have had a medical emergency’ witness & ‘bait lured dog to edge’ witness, as above?
3. 9.33am approx is this when dog tied to bench (wondering if it had a collar & tag?) witness was on scene?

Witness above, if so, clearly stated earlier interacted with (re: 1 & 2).

If the 9:10am sighting is off for any reason it means there’s a bigger window. Was the 9.10am sighting flagged by 9:33am witness?

Why wouldn't they have searched that first, its the nearest place to where it is assumed she went missing. Why on earth would you start further away? Unless you wanted this to be dragged out for operational reasons. Otherwise that just makes no sense.

I can see how a shoe could be a decoy but not a mobile phone she had been using a few minutes earlier.

@confounded234 I'm asking the same question. I can't find the link a PP directed me to earlier but if Peter claimed he could tell within an hour if Nicola had been in the water, this would be the obvious place to start to me. Unless the police had a particular reason for this not allowing this.....

Coastguard are there too according to local Facebook page.
It's not unknown for people to jump in the water off the Shard Bridge though.

I think the police have searched it. There was footage of it I think? Presumably the expert wants a go at it now so that he can show up the bumbling Northern bumpkin police.

Did we find out what happened at Thornton Lodge the other day?

Was it the think at Skipool Creek car park? That one was something to do with a car.

Apparently, diddnt find out much more but CSI were there and they took away some bags.

Just says a suspicious vehicle. I've not heard anything more.

Yeah, I can see people saying that they have been using drones there the past few evenings. Might just be part of the search.

I had no idea Jeremy Kyle was back on tv!

He has said in that interview that the police have no other info to go on so clearly he hasn’t been told anything else. They really are just searching the river because it appears due to where her belongings were placed (by her or someone else) that the most likely theory is she went in. I noticed he also commented on the fact the river isn’t moving fast.

I just so hope they get an answer. Never finding her would just be the worst 😢

wonder this but the dog was tied up by this witness at 9.33 before she had to rush off and then wait some time before informing anyone about it.

Wonder what this important appointment was that made her leave a dog tied up and without its owner??
