Why are people asking Lenin about her sex life? There is more to being gay that one's sex life. Lenin is a whole person, only part of which is her attraction to women rather than men.

Jeez, Lenin. The more I read this crap the more sympathy I have for the gay population. So whilst you may feel now that your efforts to convince DP are fultile, you may well have gone some ways to enlighting people with a bit more sense.

I am a devoted Christian, but I cannot for the life of me comprehend this idea of hatered, and exclusion, and punishment of people who are not just like me. That is not what Christianity is about. If Catholicism cannot see that, then I would question it's qualifications as a subgroup of Christianity.

Lenin I have said all the way through that the majority of homosexuals do not 'flaunt'(and I hate the word too but no-one will sudggest another one)...however there are some that do, 1 in a hundred or 1 in 1000 but some. otherwise how do you explain shops like this What I'm saying is that the Pope says people who would choose to wear t-shirts from such a shop should not teach in a catholic school (just like people who would wear a t-shirt with some indiscreet message about any kind of sexuality should not work in a Catholic school).
I KNOW there are many happy families such as yours and as a catholic I do not have any problem with it - it's certainly not my place to judge anyway.

And having gone and read Genesis whatever,I really can't see why if the word is "know" or "intercourse" is relevant,the biggest problem here to me is a gang of people trying to either get strangers to come out of the house they are in against their will either for some unspecified purpose,or to rape them,and being offered Lot's daughters instead.That is not nice behavior however you look at it but the gay bit seems irrelevant - is anyone saying that if the angels were straight women this would be ok ?? Of course no one is saying it would be OK if the Angels were women.
And yes - whatever they want with the Angels, it's certainly not a nice chat.

The point is that several Biblical translations imply that the Sodomites were homosexuals and this was quoted in reponse to someone asking where in the Bible homosexuality was mentioned.

Since they wish to have sex with male Angels, and also since ALL of the sodomites were men, and also since they did not desire Lot's daughters, it can be assumed that they were homosexual.
