My thoughts are with all of you in London or with relatives there.

My best friend has alot of relatives in London and at the mo can't contact her cousin who may of been on the tube.

SaintGeorge · 07/07/2005 12:55

4 explosions only confirmed - 3 on tubes one on bus.

No confirmation of who behind them.

Springchicken · 07/07/2005 13:02

Charles Clarke asking people not to speculate

RTKangaMummy · 07/07/2005 13:02

Ladymuck we had the same problem with 9/11

The school talked about it and so I wrote a letter in because my brother was working in new york at the time, and DS knew that.

He was fine

That we didn't think they should discuss it without thinking about the consequences for the children

I wonder what our children will have been told at school today

IMHO it is up to the parents to tell their children as they want to explain etc.

GeorginaA · 07/07/2005 13:05

BBC2 radio guy speculating that it's Olympics related as the attacks felt "improvised" - ie. could have happened in Paris or London depending on result.

cat82 · 07/07/2005 13:06

Oh no Georgina, really?

karenanne · 07/07/2005 13:06

sky news:
saying that possible suicide bomber on the bus that exploded.that they will investigate it fully

Fimbo · 07/07/2005 13:06

IMO its appalling that the BBC keep asking people with camera phones to send pictures in.

mishmash · 07/07/2005 13:07

Paris is on high alert as well
