My dh just called to say he was on the next train 1 min after!!! He almost got on it but saw that another one that's better for him was coming along in 1 min...

Yoyo, judging by my dh's timekeeping I reckon your dh was behind the explosion and so is probably fine and stuck in a train waiting somewhere. My dh is usually at his desk by about 8.30 so would have been at Euston by about 8 or so.
