I live right near the city, Bayswater, and about 10 mins from edgware road. Was gonna go up to edgware road this morning to take dd for a walk before this all happened but changed my mind....thank god. DP works if victoria.....rang colleagues at work in holborn and they cannot leave the building.

I'm 1000m away and still feel sick at this. My thoughts are with all those who may be involved.

I worked in London during the late 80's/90's, when IRA were active, and feel for those who have yet to track down friends and relatives, and those of you trapped in offices and facing an uncertain and hard journey home later.

By this time next month dh will have rejoined the London commuters too.
