Yes thanks TE he is fine. Me or DP don't know if we might be called in to work. I have to go to work tomorrow I think, no idea if the tube will be running and I don't really want to go on it!

We're supposed to be going into London for a long weekend this weekend. Don't know what to do now, whether to cancel or go ahead. Know it's a pathetic concern in the circumstances... Dh still wants to go (he says he was in London the day after an IRA attack, what's the difference).. but I don't know. Not just fear, but also feel we'd be tresspassing a bit.

mummy23 · 07/07/2005 11:14

My Gos i feel sick

Anyone got people in the area?

Azure · 07/07/2005 11:16

DH has just made in into the office, thank heavens. He had to walk from Earls Court, which took about 1.5 hours. My office is now shut - we are not allowed to leave - and the road outside is closed. I don't yet know how I'm going to get home to pick up DS from nursery - it's unlikely our nanny will be able to get there as she lives the other side of London. At 7.5 months pregnant I can't walk home.

tiredemma · 07/07/2005 11:16

who are eu?

RTKangaMummy · 07/07/2005 11:16

THEY HAVE SWITCHED OFF THE MOBILE NETWORK SO THEY CAN'T BE USED TO DETENATE BOMBS

OP posts:
suzywong · 07/07/2005 11:16

American Embassy is Grosvenor Square, btw, other side of central London.
I was on this tube line last Friday, with both DS's....
Any estimate of how many fatalities?

MrsDoolittle · 07/07/2005 11:20

Found him
London is chaos apparently, phones are all down
