Mixed reaction is what you get for everything on MN.

I think the 'fierce resistance' was her writing the article before she actually put up the thread.

Give that the Daily Mail and Mumsnet are targeted at the same demographic (middle class women age 25-54), would it be cynical to say that this hacked out "Why-oh-why" article was a planned piece of cross-promotion for the two?

Has the customary gushing article "Why I love X" (where X is the product/service/programme/whatever slated a couple of days earlier) article appeared in the DM, where X in this case is Mumsnet?
