Dear God are they still at it over there? Bloody hell, it was fun for a while but really, 24 hours later and they're still going strong. Bounty must be quiet as the grave tonight

ZephirineDrouhin · 27/11/2009 23:03

What does that mean, "for the win"?

DuelingFanjo · 27/11/2009 23:05

"dont see any begging... maybe if you go back to the start of the thread you will see quote i vote us lot go over there and bombard it with "we hate mumsnet Bounty FTW" type messages unquote"

more than a little childish if you ask me. Internet board wars are so 2006

RoysRolls · 27/11/2009 23:08

I wish the DM article had been directed at Babyworld...they have it all going on there..snobbery, breast feeding obsession, Fruit Shoot and Greggs sausage roll hating, pink buggies = thick chavs.
And most of their members have tickers most appropriate to a 4 year old.
At least MN has some sensible, articulate and fiesty members.

scottishmummy · 27/11/2009 23:12

dont have any ire for any site.it is all overstated and faux-website wars are passée

BitOfFun · 27/11/2009 23:15

Ooh, how do you do those little accent things, scottishmummy? Very chi chi, and good for French Week on MN

scottishmummy · 27/11/2009 23:20

french week!cant wait auld alliance an'aw that i love paris and harry new york bar

DuelingFanjo · 27/11/2009 23:23

do you think, if it had been written about another parenting forum, would mumsnetters have bothered going onto the Daily Mail site to post stuff like 'mumsnet ftw'?

scottishmummy · 27/11/2009 23:25

doh!zealous mn'etters not likely to galvanise for another site

MadameDefarge · 27/11/2009 23:29

SM, tell us how you did the accents! NOW!

cheesesarnie · 27/11/2009 23:30

yawning at dm.its almost funny.a woman scorned.

AnnieLobeseder · 27/11/2009 23:41

What's FTW, anyway? I guess we need more acronyms if we don't know that one!

I've posted her fuzzy hun hugs on the comments, not sure when (if) it will show up. My comments never seem to appear on any kind of meeja website .

MN is the only real parenting forum, IMO - sloppy big wet womanly pats on the back to all of you! (can you tell I've had a little wine this evening!?)

BitOfFun · 27/11/2009 23:41

I love Harry's bar in Venice

C'mon, give us the accent treek...

scottishmummy · 27/11/2009 23:43

my spell-check picks up accents

DuelingFanjo · 27/11/2009 23:46

FTW

AnnieLobeseder · 27/11/2009 23:47

Goodness, what a silly acronym. Let's ignore it and hope it goes away.

BitOfFun · 27/11/2009 23:48

Don't tell me you use spellcheck

That must be a special Irvine Welsh spellcheck...

Hehehe, I was thinking about you earlier- I used to live in Edinburgh, and was wondering- would you as a west coaster use Wains or Bairns?

ApplesinmyPocket · 27/11/2009 23:49

Hold down Alt Gr on right of space bar and type your E

éééééé

scottishmummy · 27/11/2009 23:51

duchesse · 27/11/2009 23:51

Genius! It delights me strangely that the Daily Tripe doesn't like us...
