I read this in the paper this morning and thought it was an interesting article.

Sorry to hear your situation glitterknickaz. Round here they're combining classes and making teachers redundant. No new teaching posts are being advertised because schools will be merging and closing because of falling pupil numbers.

Maybe there are simply not the people to allocate to his personal needs and not the money in the budget to pay for another adult.

I'm not saying it's fair or right, just that schools get a set amount of money for the number of children in the school, not for the types of needs of those children.

glitterknickerz I'ms urew you know all the different sources of support anyway, but MrsTurnip on here has a fab link about nappies and schools (solved the issue for us ) and when ds3 was being sent into a completely unsuitable direction SOS!SEN (they have a website) were nothing short of miraculous
