To be honest, I'm not sure I WANT to know what the situation actually is. I am one of those that likes to keep an open mind about things that have been reported in the press. If I do learn at some point that actually he WAS having a proper affair with that woman, and he WAS sneaking around using his kids as cover, then, god, my faith in human nature will take a big hit. My view is that the bereaved parents are equally deserving of sympathy. My view is also that the DM peddles shite, and anyone who believes everything written in it is very misguided.

Some people want to 'ration' sympathy, or feel differing levels of sympathy, without knowing the family or all the facts.
