bbc

As soon as they mentioned that the horses had died it sounded as if a third party must have done it all.

Poor lass

OMG - really hoping they will find the daughter alive. Perhaps she was kidnapped as some reports have looked like it could be.

Mamazon · 31/08/2008 14:14

It is astounding that some people would rather be dead than poor.
the stress that man must have been under to do what he is believed to have done.

I just hope they find the daughter...though im not sure if it would be better if she were alive or dead given these circumstances.

tortoiseshell · 31/08/2008 14:15

It's such a sad sad story. I hope the daughter by some miracle can be alive - awful if she has been caught up in her dad's business affairs - poor poor girl.

georgimama · 31/08/2008 14:18

I thought it was sounding more like they had been murdered than that the father had done it, horrible either way.

expatinscotland · 31/08/2008 14:21

it's anyone's guess what happened at this point.

wabbit · 31/08/2008 14:28

Yes true expat... but such a compelling tragedy.. can't help turning up the news when I hear a new report

expatinscotland · 31/08/2008 14:29

having worked in the criminal court system in the US, truth is stranger than fiction.

sounds like they're handling the investigation as well as it can be - one step at a time.

not funny Cod.

expatinscotland · 31/08/2008 14:37

not meant to be funny, wish.

point is, EVERYTHING at this point is speculation.

as horrible and sad as it is, there is no telling what happened for a while yet, and possibly ever.

georgimama · 31/08/2008 14:39

Cod, that is just completely out of order - glad you can see the funny in a missing presumed dead fifteen year old girl. I can't.

Just realised what MMC stands for, so even less bloody funny.

expatinscotland · 31/08/2008 14:39

here we go again!

misdee · 31/08/2008 14:40

blimey, i was expecting news reports to say it was the dad missing.

poor girl, hope she got out ok and is safe somewhere.

Mamazon · 31/08/2008 14:41

ooh dear - Cod you do realise this is going to be another "norwich" thread now dont you.

tortoiseshell · 31/08/2008 14:41

NO ONE knows jack except that Jill Foster's body has been formally identified and she sustained a gunshot wound to the head (and the animals, as well).

other than of course the house was destroyed by arson and a man's body has been discovered.

leave it to the cops.

SaintBernardDog · 31/08/2008 14:45
