I hope his victims are feeling vindicated and supported.

And yes I do agree that you only mentioned grooming and made no reference to race but the article I linked to makes it pretty clear that everyone knows “grooming gang” is racist short hand for groups of Asian men who you think are involved in grooming.

The amount of women commenting on news social posts saying he's been set up is truly worrying. It's so hard to bring a rape trial to court in this country and actually charge someone let alone get a conviction. I would love to know what the evidence is and also hope one day Katie Perry breaks her silence on him.

I read it on the news and went to see if he was on instagram. He is and was spouting some bollocks about problems within the UK justice system. Denied the rape etc and said he’d clear his name in court. I’d be astonished if he came back of his own accord but either way, I hope he gets crucified, horrible man.

This is derailing the subject a great deal but the Muslim grooming gangs are a very specific situation and aren’t representative of “grooming gangs”. They’re a type of “grooming gang” but not the only type.

What has happened and is still happening in the towns where they operate is an insidious and all encompassing crime. They’re crimes that have been unable to be reported or prosecuted or investigated because professionals in the social services, teaching, medicine, police, council etc. have prevented, threatened and even prosecuted anyone who tries to.
