Just breaking on Sky News that Brand has been charged with a number of rapes and sexual offences. Good.
I hope his victims are feeling vindicated and supported.

I used to listen to Under The Skin and also was curious about his evolution towards someone seemingly more reflective and less problematic. But how he used to interact with Jen on that show showed glimpses of the childish, malevolent, sexist drive inside him.

That’s not true. He got sober in 2002, some of the charges are from 2004-2005.

Nope. I find it offensive to say only 2 more (unconnected) people to go. There are many rapists not being charged. It’s utterly disgusting to not acknowledge that for the people who have been raped.

A quick search would have told you that there are plenty of rapists who have not been charged. So why are you so keen to ignore this fact and why are you bringing colour and ethnicity into it?

People used to love him, he was touted as hilarious, outrageous and was encouraged in his obscene behaviour on every show he was on. Women lined up for him, he was ‘sexy’, wore leather, ooh he was such a naughty boy. Anyone speaking out was a spoiled sport, frigid and silenced. Where are all those people now? Including Jonathan Ross? Well done to those brave women who are now speaking out. I wonder what his daughters will think of him now.

They may be read out, if it gets to court. Not all those cases where someone has been charged get to court. Many get NFA'd before court and sometimes like my friend's case, got NFA'd in court. The judge said no point hearing it now she is dead.

Hopefully it will get to court.
