West Midlands police are pretty useless at responding to anything so tonight is no surprise. They'd rather look the other way when there's a problem.

It is horrific but it isn't embarrassing as in it isn't only the UK. There was a huge riot in Dublin last November and again last month. The catalyst supposedly was an unprovoked attack by a homeless immigrant on a small nursery targeting very young children. The mob used it as an excuse to riot.

House prices are crazy, there aren't enough homes and people see the arrival of immigrants as the reason for this. Immigrants are usually housed in poor areas where people are already struggling instead of being spread into middle class areas. The sad thing is if immigrants were housed in (much) more well off areas, they stand a higher chance of integrating into the community but the rich say how it is our duty to receive immigrants as long as they are not on their doorstep so bus them off to rural Ireland or poor suburbs of Dublin.

It’s adds to the feelings of unfairness which is the main driver to much of this. I notice those who have been calling the white protesters/rioters thugs all day, appear somewhat reluctant to apply this the Muslim mob

It’s been going on all night tonight here in Birmingham with huge Muslim mobs spreading violence and destruction of property and armed with knives, swords as well as sticks and bats.

I've just been watching some of the videos of Birmingham on Twitter. The two things I noted were the complete lack of police presence but also that there were a few Muslim people there who had simply come out to defend the local shops and Islamic Centre and who disapproved of the behaviour of the mob. Not everyone was out for trouble. But a lot were.

Many Muslims in Birmingham are adamant that this will happen by 2050 by having significantly higher birth rates and smaller generational gaps than average non- Muslim families and immigration. Whether this is correct or not, this is what many Muslims seek to think in Birmingham
