This is the mildest incident I've seen out of Birmingham tonight.

Aside from the several gang attacks. A video has been posted to the so called 'EDL' by the self-proclaimed 'MDL' of a man brandishing an assault rifle which he loads on camera and sends out a direct threat. But it probably looks like something it isn't. Starmer will say it's photoshop.

I agree, if they were trying to diffuse things they'd be keen to demonstrate there isn't two tier policing. Hate to say it but they're just proving TR and his ilk right (on this one aspect, I find the rest of their views a bag of shite) and these claims that have often been dismissed are actually being shown to be true. There are enough police to have had a decent presence, this down playing of it being small scuffles easily contained is outrageous. They should treat all violent men taking part in these the same and they're simply not.

I agree. I saw the footage of the pub being surrounded by people flying the Palestinian flag. Then about 10 of these people attacked a guy that came out of the pub. Kicked him in the head and surrounded him like a pack of wolves.

Some people like to smash things up/destroy things for fun.

If you are a wealthy former banker like Farage you will do it in a different way to if you are a poor working class white man, or a working class Muslim. But the impulse is the same.

That is not the same as people, who want to make things better/fix problems they can see around them. They might have really different ideas of what the problems or solutions are to me. But the impulse is to build/restore/conserve. e.g. I think Brexit is a terrible idea but I know people who voted for Brexit for good, well reasoned reasons.

Its the impulse to destroy just because you can/because you want to see what you can get away with that is the problem. And you can spot who those people are quite easily because they are the people smashing things up for fun

40% of UK Muslims would support the introduction of Sharia law. Of course there's 'good Muslims' around as much as there's good and bad in every race and culture. But the immigrants are coming in so thick and fast that they will not/do not need to integrate and will vote in new laws around their belief system and not ours. The estimated population of the UK is now believed to be closer to 100 million rather than the 70 million the government claim. We have already lost control and need to take urgent action.

The two tier policing has been shockingly apparent since 7/10. Not just on Starmer’s watch, but his policies and allegiances have opened the floodgates to mob rule as these groups are very much emboldened. Much easier to stomp down on the ‘far right’ who they are not scared of.

Most of the people rioting will not be in EDL or officially affiliated to any right wing political group. They're just white working class guys. They have their own opinions and don't need anyone to tell them what to think in order to riot.

How about, as a solution to this supposed two tier policing, the far right stop smashing in peoples windows and setting cars on fire etc. And instead try to influence policy democratically. You know, “British Values” etc etc.

I don’t have any friends who don’t look like me, or who come from another part of the world. I’m not a racist though.

This is extremely worrying. I know the area well - lots of elderly people live in the surrounding estates, they will be petrified.
