he was 17 when they got together.yes,it seems strange to me too but there are some posts on this thread implying that any younger man who is with a single mum is upto no good(sorry-cant think of real words tonight,2 weeks of children-blerggghhh).

how do people expect people not to discuss this case.

A child went missing, the family appealed for her return on the television. After three weeks she was found, alive, safe and well. But instead of her being reunited with her family she is kept away from them, and subsequently the stepfather is arrested and the remaining children are taken into care.

This certainly doesn't go down as one of those cases where the family have suffered a terrible ordeal and should have all our sympathy. In fact Shannon going missing has probably done some good for the rest of those poor defenceless children. As for the adults, well ...

Divastrop, Most mature 32 yr old women with 5 children would have very little in common with a childless 22 yr old. I'd say that's stating the bleeding obvious.
