I wondered that (about viewing evidence), but think of the advantage of never being swayed by the defendants 'shifty' eyes, how expensive his clothes or what color skin he had. I know he'd be told about race etc, but I'm thinking about unconscious attitudes.

I really feel for all of the children involved in this, its like something out of a bloody film.

Like I have said already, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Am very relieved that my nephews and neices are now in the care of social services.

its his sister from next door and a woman with the same surname as him.

Someone my DH knew when he was younger has been charged with psuedo images. These weren't children but his, very young looking, SIL dressed as a schoolgirl. He had other images that were children. My DH says that when he (the neighbour) went to university he came home and showed my DH pictures of his girlfriend posing in 'porno poses' dressed a a young girl.

Is it significant that Sky News just said 'alleged abduction' as opposed to 'abduction' which they have been using?

I haven't really followed the story...but I had no idea that the Kidnapper was the stepfathers uncle...!
Whatever happens, hope the little girl is o.k.

Everythng is 'alledged' until proven in court.
