so a 22 year old man arrested in connectio with shannon matthews?

was that not the age of her step father you know the one who would never hurt her i know we have to reserve judgement but still.

Nasty speculation of this sort helps no one IMO. Least of all Shannon.

The 22 year old has apparently been arrested on suspicion of possessing indecent images of children.

Have to wait & see.

I saw BBC news, But it had no age or further information.

You are right, that is the same age as her stepfather. Wonder if that is why the poor kid has stayed in foster care. Feel very sorry for her mother.

for those of you being 'judgy' you will note in my first poost i did say to 'resrerve judgement' however i have not posted before about shannon although i did have the opinion and it is only my opinion that shannon's mom was scared of the stepfather and i als knew that the sf was 22 and not the only 22yr old living in that area but i did think i was just passing an opinion and for my part i just wnt that little girl and her family to have a normal and loving life!

I am not surprised to be honest - I watched the documentary about them during the days she was missing and he seemd qute controlling and sort of liked the publicity - I feel sorry for the mum, Shannon and her siblings.

BBC say he has been arrested but in connection with indecent images of children on a computer. Doesn't say he had anything to do with Shannon's disappearance.

on BBC news 24 they are reporting that the step father has been arrested and is being questioned.

Isn't this unrelated but could explain why she hasn't gone back home?

They had to examine his computer because of the case

I expect people will be out with the pitchforks soon enough though - plenty of them with worse things to hide themselves

Funnily enough I had a friend involved in the Gary Glitter case - it started after he had taken his PC into a shop to be mended - obviously he didn't think that some geek would have a browse through his files!

And the rest is history of course

I think it says more about stupidity than wickedness TBH
