DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE LOU33 IS?

IS SHE BY THE COAST?

THIALAND,

MALDIVES under water we loved them when we were there 3 years ago.

EARTHQUAKE AND VERY FAST TIDAL WAVES REALLY AWFUL

She said they are camping in the hills until it is safe to go back to resort. I told her lots of people have been worried.

Bless her so glad she is ok. Looking forward to having her back her to give us all a giggle. I hope her hols aren't completely ruined, but guess she is one of the lucky ones.

Oh thank god for that - thanks jmg, and thanks for your offer too sarahu - I saw some TV coverage of Phi Phi and although it was devastated, with people lying on stretchers and milling around looking shattered, there were a lot of people there so hope your friends are lucky.

wow am glad lou is OK still no news from friends but have heard that there are a lot stranded there waiting to be evacuated.

THe school where I work has turned into a sort of emergency centre - have just been chatting with a lovely Finnish lady who was on the beach when the waves came....she said it was unbelievable. Three waves hit Phuket apparnatly. She also said that believe it or not there were looters, stealing from the bags that people left behind when they fled. Can you believe some people?

Anyway I'm going to have a beer and go to bed its after midnight here and has been a very long day. I hope that I hear some good news at some point soon. Don't expect I will see my husband tonight as he is still helping out.
