Blimey, do delusions of superiority run in the Booth family ?

Holly wouldn't have touched the sweets if she really was a junior gastronome extraordinaire.

Lets face it she's been helped by the French lifestyle and the food available to all children in French schools, she can't claim it as all her own work.

Lazy journalism and as Blu says a thinly veiled bit of patting oneself on the back slapping.

Wisteria · 15/11/2007 11:33

I just tried to leave a comment and I got bored with the 'fill these letters in' part - I've done it 10 times and it just wants more!!

mistypeaks · 15/11/2007 11:34

Oh good grief. Silly smug overbearing stuck-up (etc etc) cow. My dd2 does have a liking for balsamic vinegar and much prefers her dad's home-made chilli or my spag bol to most other things, but she is also rather partial to supermarket grade wafer thin ham and chicken nuggets (do I get an automatic trouncing for that admission!!). They both love fruit and veg, but equally like crisps and chocolate. I think there is a balance between an overall healthy, nutritious diet and allowing them to be children and having the odd sweet. As there is a balance to being proud of your/and your childrens acheivement and being a self obsessed braggart!
