Who advised her? Bad move, the press are going to savage her.

Poor cow, I don't know how she puts up with it, I thought I had problems.

I thought it was great that she did that, Spokette. Even though she is a crazy, she is v brave.

spokette · 31/10/2007 13:41

I bet she would not have tried it with the Inuits?

cornsilk · 31/10/2007 13:43

She was on radio 5 live this morning. She kept talking (shouting) over the interviewer.

emsiewill · 31/10/2007 13:44

Well, before today, I have always had an inexplicable hatred for Heather Mills.

Having seen her on GMTV this morning, I do feel really sorry for her, which is not something I ever imagined I would say. She does seem to be on the edge, and I would imagine her life is just a nightmare.

I think she is actually a genuine person, who cares about the charity work she does, but who comes across really badly - she always seems like she is being agressive and arrogant, and I think that's what has put my back up in the past.

I can't believe I am saying this - but she really seemed so desperate this morning. (didn't see/hear her anywhere other than GMTV)

Spokette - I think perhaps there is a difference between wearing fur for survival and wearing it to look like you have made a lot of money.

Lauriefairycake · 31/10/2007 13:52

I didn't see it but I think what she is saying about the press is very interesting.

I read the sunday times magazine on sunday and Sienna Miller was being interviewed. She has a dozen people outside her door day in and day out and to provoke her one of them stood in front of her door preventing her getting her key in the lock and yelled at her:

"Who did you fuck last night you slag"

No wonder her flatmate (Rhys Ifans) spat at them the other day.

If some fucker shouted that at me and physically got in between me and my front door I would go apeshit and be dropping buckets of 'toilet water' on them from an upstairs window - I would not be as restrained as spitting at them

MrsArchieTheScaryInventor · 31/10/2007 13:53

I just find it all so very sad for their daughter. Whatever is going on now, no matter how much mud is slung and how many insults are traded, they once loved each other enough to get married and have a child, and in a few years that child is going to read how much mummy and daddy hate each other and wish the other would jump off a cliff. Separation and divorce is never easy but I'm sure it doesn't have to be that messy and nasty.

One thing is for sure and that's if Heather Mills does write her autobiography then she deserves all she gets from the media.

CassandraMT · 31/10/2007 14:25

"I think its unrealistic to expect people to not buy the offending newspapers."

I think this is unfortunately true.

People don't stop buying cheap clothes or shoes and trainers even though they know they have been made via child slavery, or stop buying Nestle stuff cos they prefer a certain brand of coffee and balls to all them dead African children.

This is who we are now. It's unrealistic to think we could be better than this...

I want to sign her petition - what website was it on??

CassandraMT · 31/10/2007 14:39

Sign the petition for a fair and balanced media here

pagwatch · 31/10/2007 14:43

There will be a fair and balanced media when people stop buying papers with shite on the front.
Is it just me or isn't she a bit miffed at the divorce settlement under discussion prohibiting her from...umm....telling the media all about Paul.

spokette · 31/10/2007 15:09

Bessie

Some people wear a fur coat because they like it, not to prove they have a lot of money.

I personally don't wear fur but I am not going to dictate to others about it because

  1. it is not illegal
  2. I'm sure some of the clothes I wear have been made by destitute and exploited people in poor countries.

Indeed, I can guarantee that Saint Mills and co will be wearing clothes, diamonds, gold, or eating brown lentils etc that have been made, harvest etc by cheap exploited labour from around the world. It is just that poor, brown, bedraggled people are not as photogenic as a fluffy animal.

spokette · 31/10/2007 15:14

Sign her petition for a fair & balanced media? Are you kidding?

First opportunity she gets she will be putting the boot into PM and his kids courtesy of a serialised book in the Daily Hate, spread after spread in Hello, OK and the all the other insipid, trite, putrid rags that clog up the newstand.

Petition my backside!

tori32 · 31/10/2007 15:18

I feel sorry for anyone going through a divorce with or without children, famous or not. However, if you use the media for your own ends then expect them to make stories about you when things go wrong.

She did lots of comendable acting on GMTV 'look at me because I am a victim' attitude. As someone else rightly pointed out, there were no real tears, just high pitched 'crack' in voice, not even a glint in her eye of moisture. I have to question Paul McCartney as a villian. How can one man change so completely having had a happy marriage to Linda for so many years, then when he marries again turns into a complete pig

Bessie123 · 31/10/2007 15:47

Spokette - whatever the reason, it is still unnecessary and disgusting. I think good on HM for taking a stand about it.

Monkeytrousers · 31/10/2007 15:55

Lots of people here seem to think they konw what acting looks like, yet bizarely they say she is a good actress, i.e. real looking?? Just how do you make such a subtle distinction?

LoveAngel · 31/10/2007 16:05

I cant's stand Lady Mucca. But I fucking hate Paul McCartney. Sanctimonious dickhead. Oh, and worse than both of the Mc'Parp'neys put together: Fiona off MTV. Hideous troll.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 31/10/2007 16:29

Another thread filled with vituperation.

ruty · 31/10/2007 16:31

i really don't like it when people say some real person is 'acting' on telly. Like the girl who was accused of killing her boyfriend in Australia. Like Kate McCann. Ok, Mills appears to be bonkers. But it is a bit dangerous to think you know how she's feeling.

LoveAngel · 31/10/2007 16:37

Ooh big word, VVV!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 31/10/2007 16:38

I know

And it sums up the thread in 5 delicious syllables.

dooley1 · 31/10/2007 16:40

is it on you tube yet, can't find it so far

Bundle · 31/10/2007 16:41

so much hate, with a name like loveangel...

paulaplumpbottom · 31/10/2007 16:41

I'm sure it will be soon enough
