Who advised her? Bad move, the press are going to savage her.

Poor cow, I don't know how she puts up with it, I thought I had problems.

Didn't see it. I switched over deliberately. She courts publicity and then goes on GMTV to moan about the press.

Why does she not see the value in maintaining a dignified silence? Which includes not prancing about on American telly.

olsmum · 31/10/2007 09:49

omg it was awful, what is it about that woman! i dont believe a word that comes out her mouth, i cant help it! why was she on anyway? to promote her charity? to discuss the divorce? or to promote the website she was talking about? or just to tell everyone how hard done by she is?
i bet andrew was glad he didnt have to do the interview after his one with kerry Katona recently!

oliveoil · 31/10/2007 09:52

she is mad as a box of frogs imo

get ye to a therapist

GrumpyOldHearsewoman · 31/10/2007 09:53

I don't know whether or not she is telling the truth, and don't particularly care. It's their business and you can bet the truth is somewhere in between their two stories. I hate the sort of press intrusion we have into some people's private lives, but there is an expression 'some people feed the squirrels, and others don't'.

preggersagain · 31/10/2007 10:00

i had to turn over- she was annoying me! peppa pig was far superior imo!!

CrushWithEyeliner · 31/10/2007 10:01

wow you lot are harsh - she was in bits

OhBloodyHell · 31/10/2007 10:03

Agree with crush.

"the devil would be embarrassed to be associated with McCartney's music." Whaaaaat?

ScaremyVile · 31/10/2007 10:05

You're meant to be down the chemist, what are you hanging around here for?

Elffriend · 31/10/2007 10:07

Didn't see it so cannot really comment but have no sympathy and think she is wholly manipulative and unhinged at a fairly deep level - always has been from what I understand - long before the whole Macca thing. Cannot bear her anyway, the whole martyr v ice-dancing thing - makes me want to chew off my own bloody leg. Do feel sorry for the child but her - no. I don't watch GMTV but maybe i should - sounds like Jeremy Kyle with better chairs...

OhBloodyHell · 31/10/2007 10:14

shit scaremy- you are right. I'm inventing lots of things that need doing- am just in the middle of clearing out and cleaning my fridge.

Oh, Bolleaux. I MEANT TO BE FOOD SHOPPING THIS AM. But have just heard she's on This Morning at 10.30.

2sugars · 31/10/2007 10:34

This'll be interesting - she's just this second stopped jabbering live on R5Live.

lizziemun · 31/10/2007 10:52

She on Good morning later, about 11.45.

GrumpyOldHearsewoman · 31/10/2007 11:12

Busy feeding the squirrels this morning, isn't she?

flowerybeanbag · 31/10/2007 11:17

how she can complain about the press while overexposing herself like this is beyond me!

wannaBe · 31/10/2007 11:38

I have no sympathy for these people that over expose themselves to the press and then complain when the press turn/expose things they don't want made public - you can't have it both ways.

CassandraMT · 31/10/2007 11:50

She is right. What happens in the papers, with her, with Britney, it's bullying. Everyone that joins in the laugh is joining in that.

Yet, we all abhor the bully don't we?

SweetTrickorTreatFA · 31/10/2007 11:55

I have no idea what she is all about, but I do know that I hate Paul McCartney with a vengeance. Personally.

Bundle · 31/10/2007 11:56

SweetTrickorTreatFA, do you know Paul McCartney?

HidingBehindANewName · 31/10/2007 12:02

I think that it doesnt matter whether you like or dislike Heather and/or Paul. The issue is that Heather seems to want the press to publish only 'positives'. HELLO, it doesnt work like that. Just before the break, she said the press want to ruin things for the charities she has worked hard for. I DONT THINK SO. Now her new campaign is all about HER, so are her 'hundreds of charaties' relegated in importance? I think its unrealistic to expect people to not buy the offending newspapers.

kerala · 31/10/2007 12:02

Have heard (from someone who knows them) that he has been pretty nasty to her.

Shes seems so keen to be liked which always seems to antagonise people. If she is desperate for popular approval she should stop courting the media, take her settlement money and throw herself into the charity stuff she did before they split. But thats not as much fun as ranting on tv I guess.

wannaBe · 31/10/2007 12:03

but they can't have it both ways. They use the press/the celeb mags to sell pictures of their weddings/their children/the family holiday. And so when things go wrong the press naturally want to report on that as well, and people want to read it. It's wrong but they do.

When you use the press you do so knowing that if there is ever likely to be anything negative to report, they will do so. Maybe the general public that get inavertantly caught up in the press are more naive, but the likes of her would be well aware of what they're letting themselves in for.

Bundle · 31/10/2007 12:07

what she is doing is pretty clear - saying she's "close to the edge" and that certain branches of the media have pushed her there gives her a get-off clause in her "revenge" beanspilling exercise with her soon to be ex-husband.

when their daughter is old enough to ask her why she wrote about daddy in such a bitter & twisted way, she can say The Press Made Me Do It.

bodycolder · 31/10/2007 12:13

I know people who know her and like her and say she is badly portrayed. My uncle was in Wings with PM and he was renowned for being a tight wad and a bit of a mean person all round -allegedly
