What does it do that is so wrong?

I thought the Daily Mail was hated everywhere.

Someone said the health reporting is good?
It is really, really poor. Whenever I have a patient in my clinic who starts a sentence with 'I read in the paper that (insert utter rubbish)', 9 times out of 10 it's because they read it in the Daily Mail.
Scaremongering written by people who appear to have no knowledge of science at all. It causes a lot of unecessasary anxiety.

I hate the Daily Mail too but I'm a bit concerned that it's casually assumed here in passing that secretaries can be dismissed as having no brains, therefore it's ok for them to read the DM or the Sun and gossip magazines. I read all sorts of things really but at heart I'm a Guardian reader as are most of my family. I've recently given up the bad habit of getting several newspapers on weekend days, it had got totally out of hand and we couldn't afford it either in space and time or financially any more. Oh, and I'm a secretary but in a council office. My lawyer colleagues read papers including the Mail, the Telegraph and anything that's given out free at the tube station. I don't like the Metro either, I think it shows where it comes from.
