I knew a family nearby.Shes a social worker working with kids and over years they have fostered as well as there own kids.

i saw the program and was sickened by her attitude that she should stand by her DH no matter what he had done.
i love my husband very much but if he ever inappropriately touched our daughter he would be out the door with my foot up his arse. no second chances.
thought it was interesting that the daughter had the courage to tell her mum within a relatively short time of the abuse starting, we know that the reality is often far from that.....

imho abusing children is the most despicable of all crimes, because it takes a particularly cruel person to hurt often completely helpless, young innocent human beings and I think it is justifiable that they are treated with a particular kind of contempt.

The woman I know had the cheek to tell all the neighbours that he was working away!
