Children missing in Thai cave found.

It appears the children and teacher have been found alive.
Has a miracle happened ?
I am so delighted and hope they will be ok after their horrific ordeal.
It's always nice to see good news as lately all the headlines are of something bad having happened.
Please forgive me if there is already a thread on this topic.

They will have had it I assume if they were bitten. Effective up to about a week after the bite.

They could probably have got rabies vaccines into the cave if they needed them. It needs cold chain delivery but on ice in an insulated bag would probably be good enough.

Oh yes very good point. And presumably the boys would know if they'd been bitten.
But anyway, other cave specific nasties. Hopefully they'll be back to full health very soon

Apparently those caves were bat free (obviously lots of other nasties though). Looking at the videos the boys looked barely conscious so that must have been a major decision to make for safety reasons, aussie guy knew what he was doing!

I read that some were sedated, others weren't. That makes I sense. I guess each boy will have been assessed on his own merits.

Just watching the live interview but the translator isn’t very good.

The younger boys in particular looked so sad .

I know it's a different culture but I feel sad that after all they've been through that they are being seperated from their families for 9 days .
