This is slipping from the news and the police are starting to scale down their seraches.

Evidence seems to suggest that Madeline may have been taken to Spain and yet very few people out there are aware of what has happened or what she looks like etc.

We need to send as many emails as we can to Spanish businesses with a poster attachment and highlight this case.

I need mumsnetters to volunteer.

I have called in sick today to get this started but this is a massive task and I cannot do it on my own.

wannabe, I have an email address for someone who is connected to the family and did email them this morning. Haven't had a reply back yet.

It may be that they are overwhelmed with messages. Shouldn't we just get on and help anyway?

Thanks for the emails, I have forwarded them on to our branches in Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Austria and Poland with a note to forward to their customers and suppliers.

I saw a suggestion on the Sky website about publicity for Mdadeleine during Eurovision. oes anyone have any contact to get a mention on there. I have emailed Sky 9all addresses) but as yet have not received a response. I couldn't find any contacts for the conets itself. What about contacting our entry. Perhaps they could do something. I don't even know who they are.

davina, have you contacted help @ findmadeleine.com (the website that is hosting the poster, info etc). Might be worth just letting them know we are doing this. If you haven't, I will.

Also, just got access to European media list (newspapers, magazines, TV programmes, radio shows, etc) . Will keep you posted on how I do with it.

There is a direct e-mail address for the McCanns at Mark Warner and I was about to e-mail them to check that this all sits ok with them but I also spotted a link to www.ceop.gov.uk who also have an e-mail appeal going.

I suspect that they are innundated with things at the moment and as there IS an OFFICIAL e-mail appeal on-going I would imagine that this initiative would be OK.
