Madeleine McCann - we need YOUR help to try and find this little girl.

This is slipping from the news and the police are starting to scale down their seraches.

Evidence seems to suggest that Madeline may have been taken to Spain and yet very few people out there are aware of what has happened or what she looks like etc.

We need to send as many emails as we can to Spanish businesses with a poster attachment and highlight this case.

I need mumsnetters to volunteer.

I have called in sick today to get this started but this is a massive task and I cannot do it on my own.

Please let me know if you can help.

I have emailed Esso asking them to circulate the poster amongst all their service stations, and I'll email other petrol/service stations chains tonight and this afternoon. If anyone has a chance though I think the more we can bombard these big corporations with pleas to circulate images of Maddie in their branches/foreign outlets, the better!

I have a friend who works at the British Council, which has offices literally all over the world, so I will email her today, and get her to circulate it amongst as many of their staff as possible.

My mother has sent posters to friends and family in Mexico, who are forwarded them on to friends and relatives throughout Latin America.

My dad drives a truck all over Europe, including Spain and Germany and his wagon is covered in posters of Maddy as he hopes somebody will recognise her so where along his travels. My heart breaks everytime I see the family on the tv and I so hope she is back with her family very soon.

Be back later got to go into work this morning about starting back and take ds to rhyme time try and get on this afternoon.Do you think the police have said no suspects to quieten things done to maybe draw the perpertrator out.I really do hope so

I think there are lots of sites with the poster on but www.findmadeleine.com seems to have at least the information in lots of languages.

Not sure if already done, but have just contacted Microsoft. As they are able to send updates to any computer int he world hopefully they may be able to distribute Maddy's picture and details.

I would be happy to help, we have family in Spain, France and through family have various work contacts across europe.

Could someone please email me something straight forward that I can pass on through my family as I am a complete techno dummy, and have tried to make up my own email but got into a bit of a mess!

I have had a lovely reply from Eurostar saying they are willing to put posters up at Waterloo. They have given me another email address to write to for even more publicity. Thank you Eurostar.

We could think of more sites that receive a huge amount of international traffic. I know youtube etc have already been done but what about something like itunes? I haven't got a second to do it at the moment, but if they were to have a banner ad with Madeleine's face on it, that could help?

Hi,
I've just joined mumsnet purely so that I can try and help with this.
Do you guys have a standard e-mail that you are sending out to all these companies? If so can someone please send it on to me? I work for a large international organisation and I will forward it to as many contacts as I can.
I also figure that with regards to companies sich as CNN, YouTube, Micrsoft etc... the more people that contact them the better. These kind of companies may be more likely to bow to public pressure. Just a thought...

Much respect for what you guys are doing. Brings a tear to my eye and goes some way in restoring my faith in humanity.

Angliz, I can email you a poster that can be translated into different languages but not the 'eye' poster unfortunatley as that is only available in English afaik.

I also have some translations in Spanish that can be added to the subject line in the email and body text.

Oh that's a pity as that's the one i beleive will make people look twice! David Beckham is holding it in a different language.
Will e'mail you soon for the translations.
A freind of mine has a freight service (don't know how many but lots of lorries going all over) i'm going to ask if they'll put posters up and i guess leave posters at all stops?

I have to ask her first but i'm being presumptious and printing posters for her!
