Madeleine McCann - we need YOUR help to try and find this little girl.

This is slipping from the news and the police are starting to scale down their seraches.

Evidence seems to suggest that Madeline may have been taken to Spain and yet very few people out there are aware of what has happened or what she looks like etc.

We need to send as many emails as we can to Spanish businesses with a poster attachment and highlight this case.

I need mumsnetters to volunteer.

I have called in sick today to get this started but this is a massive task and I cannot do it on my own.

Please let me know if you can help.

Good idea. Do you think it would help to start a separate thread asking people for specific help circulating the poster around Polish people, or would that be dangerous ground?

ITV said that they (the police) were looking for this couple, and a british woman living in the area who had been interviewed by the police, said that the blonde woman they wanted to speak to seemed (important to stress that probably) Polish. The man concerned was English. These two had been seen in various locations acting strangely (allegedly) and were the ones seen in a petrol station with an unco-operative blonde child...

God its awful.

I can help with the coach operators - what do you need me to do, and has it all been agreed with or is in line with what the family/police etc etc are all doing? (Sorry I haven't read the whole thread).

Moodlum ive been sending the official poster to coach operators in engish and spanish so far i have done Leons,gold crest,resorthoppa,busabout.com,salvesen haulage,buddenscoaches,i have just googled and gone through that way (i warn you there are alot of them) i have to go now baby has woken up back tomorrow thanks

Tomorrow - when dd is in nursery (and hopefully ds asleep) I'll try do as many as I can. Someone has already done haulage companies? Also maybe I'll see if I can get information on big Motorway service station chains across Europe and send it to them. Its unlikely that one person like me has thought of anything that Interpol haven't already done, but we may as well do whatever we can?

I have done all the Belgian Freight Forwarders that Mrs Spoon linked to. Not the same as haulage companies though so they are definatley worth doing!

OK I tried but failed. Crimestoppers weren't interested and just tried phoning the Portuguese police. God what a red neck. Anway I think their e-mail is [email protected] if anyone wants to try e-mailing them - my e-mail's not working. It's so frustrating - that latest dream has a white van and the dream was before the news starting reporting a white van. I don't usually believe this sort of stuff but at this point will believe anything for a resolution, really clutching at straws now. I hope they have a breakthrough soon - it's a living hell for the parents.

Has anyone tried the Spanish ISPs? I can email them tomorrow.

have just spoken to my Polish builders, none of them know anything about this case but have agreed to send posters home.

Are they available in Polish, does anyone know?

There are over 100 of these men working in this area and I am going to take a load of the posters down to their site office today.
