Yes, I don't want to hear from CA.

TinselTwins · 26/07/2017 17:39

Creme, in theory I suppose C&C could produce an intensivist and a full scale plan which would satisfy GOSH as being in Charlie's best interests. But realistically it just isn't going to happen

They'll probably still try Sad , the judge has basically told them to! he could have ended their fight today and let them focus on being with C IMO

Lucysky2017, we cannot print the stuff if it is not there to print though can we?

muckypup73 · 26/07/2017 17:39

TinselTwins, I reckon so.

Doobydoo · 26/07/2017 17:40

Concur Stealth......but good to 'see' you too.

Vevvie · 26/07/2017 17:41

I hope CA leave them alone and don't incite them into making their last days with C dutile, wasting time trying to find an intensivist. They need to come to terms with what's happening and let their boy spend his last hours in their arms.

Such harrowing circumstances for them. But it needed to be taken out of their hands.

oakleaffy · 26/07/2017 17:41

I just hope CY stops ''fighting''..just please, Connie spend tomorrow with your Boy.
Sorry I lost patience with situation..Connie faces the worst pain any parent can suffer :(

Yamayo · 26/07/2017 17:42

I guess because the parents are adamant they don't want him to die in hospital.
Home is not an option because there might be the risk the parents refuse to let him go (I assume).
After all the bad blood I don't know if the hospital staff feel safe taking him home and monitoring him there until the end.

MissHavishamsleftdaffodil · 26/07/2017 17:42

You'd have to look through the tweets Maryz but I thought it was ruled out as too high risk because of the need to hand bag to get inside. They were concerned about the tube coming out/things going wrong. A hospice is built to accommodate ambulance transfers and equipment so no issues.

StealthPolarBear · 26/07/2017 17:42

Who or what is ca?

BubblesBuddy · 26/07/2017 17:42

The 12 noon part is to give the parents and GOSH to agree on something else but if not, the order is in place. GOSH now don't really need to do anything as the case isn't going back to Court and they know where they stand. CY could agree to something else but it seems rather unlikely hence reporting restrictions about time, date and place.

LeMesmer · 26/07/2017 17:42

acrossthepond I agree, Connie must have a depth of grief and despair that most of can't even bear to think about for a second when we think about our own children. She is staring into the most hellish abyss. Particularly as it seems at no point have the parents had someone, family, friend, legal team who have tried to help them come to terms with the fact that Charlie had a life limiting illness which could never be cured. This was always going to be the outcome (of course someone other than GOSH may have tried to do this, but it obviously needed more, and we have seen the family support for Charlie's Army).

I hope the people around them will now try and support them in the way they should have from the beginning.

I also think perhaps even at this stage GOSH were trying to do the best for the parents whilst of course knowing that Charlie's rights were paramount. GOSH knew the risks of transfer home, (how awful if would have been for his parents had he died before reaching home) that a team caring for Charlie there would not have given his parents a quiet week with him, far from it. That having sadly seen so many grieving parents GOSH knew a shorter time with him in a quiet hospice would be best for them in the long term. GOSH said as much in their statement

mydogisthebest · 26/07/2017 17:43

So so sad but now, at least, Charlie will be allowed to be at peace.

I really cannot see the name/address of the hospice staying secret though. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the parents or Chris' sister don't give it out

jinglejanglejobs · 26/07/2017 17:43

Jingle, he could theoretically be bagged through the door, extubated, and they could spend time with him at home

Ambulance service refused to do this. He needed to be bagged while turning corners, going up stairs, etc. It's too risky, his tube may have come out before he was settled.

Hopefully, the home comforts they wanted him to have while he died can be brought to the hospice. Perhaps not the cot, but the belongings they'll have bought him over time. I'm sure that the hospice team will do everything possible to make it as soothing a process as possible for them all.

muckypup73 · 26/07/2017 17:43

mydogisthebest, I hope so,

BeyondDrinksAndKnowsThings · 26/07/2017 17:43

Jingle, my last post to you on the deleted thread pointed out that petulantly stating your views just cause the thread was being deleted would result in a ban Grin it was hardly unexpected!

Feeling very much for JF tonight. And c&c too, obv, but I think it will affect JF particularly hard :(

Connie is posting on facebook asking for an intensive care consultant to come forward!

muckypup73 · 26/07/2017 17:45

It is not bun fighty though Marysz its measured, why lock it to reopen it later? when people may have cracked open a bottle and say what they really think.

IfYouGoDownToTheWoodsToday · 26/07/2017 17:45

I really don't understand the judge.

What other 'agreement' could the parents and the hospital come to?Confused

Surely he should have made the decision for them, so the parents can spend time with Charlie. Instead I expect they will be frantically trying to find something else to come to court aboutSad.

LapinR0se · 26/07/2017 17:46

Oh my goodness to Connie's post on Facebook!

muckypup73 · 26/07/2017 17:46

Oh my word, please please please stop this.

jinglejanglejobs · 26/07/2017 17:46

Beyond You'd think they'd at least send me an email saying 'you've been banned'! Also apparently it wasn't that message that got me done in the end, it was another Grin

I really doubt the family will let out the name of the hospice. Having an 'army' on their side was useful for drawing attention to the case and trying to draw in experts. Now it's just going to make it more difficult to spend time with their boy.

oakleaffy · 26/07/2017 17:46

Maryz..lock it to keep it safe?
